An artist who has appeared with many of the world’s leading orchestras, she makes her debut with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra as soloist in Haydn’s celebrated Cello Concerto in C major. Marko Letonja has a natural affinity with Slavic music. He brings his unique insights to Smetana’s Má vlast (My homeland) – musical portraits of the Czech lands – and the Little Suite by Polish composer Witold Lutoslawski, whose centenary is commemorated this year.
