DECEMBER 2013 PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the conditions of entry.
2. Participation in this competition confirms your acceptance of all terms and conditions of entry.
3. Entry is only open to residents of Australia, aged 18 or over, who purchase one of the December “Pharmacy Best Buys” advertised products in one transaction, excluding all Schedule 2 (Pharmacy Medicines) and Schedule 3 (Pharmacist Only Medicines), from participating “Pharmacy Best Buys” pharmacies. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating pharmacies and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. To enter, complete an entry form found in store and place it in the entry box found in store. For the entry to be valid, the official entry form must include the name of the entrant, permanent address, phone number, product purchased, receipt, staff name and pharmacy name where the product was purchased. Validation and identification must be shown if requested.
5. For the entry to be valid, the official entry form must not have been tampered with in any way. The form must not have been made illegible, re-issued, mutilated, altered, stamped paid, marked void, stolen, misprinted, counterfeit, re-constituted or defective as this will render it ineligible for a prize.
6. Multiple entries will be accepted, but each transaction requires a separate entry form and proof of purchase. One entry form will be awarded per eligible transaction. Each product purchased may only be used to enter the major prize draw once.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
8. Entry into the December Promotion is only valid from participating tagged “Pharmacy Best Buys” pharmacies during the advertised period.
9. Promotion commences Monday December 2nd 2013. Entries close 5pm, AEST Tuesday December 24th, 2013. The draw will take place at 12 noon, Wednesday 8th January, 2014, at the offices of Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited: 250 Camberwell Road, Camberwell, 3124, VIC. Winner’s advertisement will be published in “The Australian” on Friday, January 17th 2014.
10. The 1st randomly drawn entry will win a Suzuki SX4 Navigator 2WD automatic transmission model with all on-road costs (which includes dealer delivery charges, 12 months registration, stamp duty and CTP). The Prize winner may select the colour preference of their vehicle; however, this is subject to availability and is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Prize is valued at a maximum of $22,465.00 incl GST.
11. The Prize will be delivered to a Suzuki dealership located in the Prize winner’s nearest capital city. Comprehensive insurance, additional options and all ancillary costs (including travel to and from the Suzuki dealership in the Prize winner’s nearest capital city to collect the vehicle) are the responsibility of the Prize winner. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the Prize winner. The prize is not transferable, and is not redeemable for cash.
12. The next 5 randomly drawn entries, one from each of NSW/ACT, VIC/TAS, SA/NT, QLD and WA will each win a $500 Coles Group & Myer Gift Card. The prizes are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash.
13. Total prize pool value is $24,965. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Should the delay in delivery of the specified vehicle be excessive; the promoter reserves the right to change the model at an equivalent value subject to state legislation.
14. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same time and place as the original draw as are necessary on 5/3/2014 in order to distribute any Prize Draw unclaimed by that date, subject to state regulations. Winners will be notified by mail. Winner’s advertisement will be published in “The Australian” on Friday, March 14th 2014.

16. If for any reason any aspect of the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, the promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in each state or territory where required
17. The promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
18. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being stored by the Promoter for the duration of the promotional period. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. The Promoter is bound to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Promoter’s office.
19. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner (inc. photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition.
20. All entries become the property of the promoter, and will only be used for the purposes of this competition. Entries will not be returned to the entrants. Judges decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
