“Crack the cash $20,000 promotion”
The promotion commences Thursday 2nd January, 2014 – Monday 31st March, 2014

1. PROMOTER
The Promoter is Castle Hill Autos trading as Castle Hill Hyundai (ABN 25 148 096 244) 2A Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154 ("the Promoter"). The promotion period commences at 8am EST on Thursday 2nd January, 2014 and closes at 6:00pm EST on Monday 31st March, 2014.

2. WHO MAY ENTER
Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of the Promoter or its related bodies and Advertising Agencies are ineligible to enter. National fleet, rental and government purchasers are also ineligible to enter.

3. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions and any Special Terms and Conditions appearing on the website specific to the particular competition.
 
4. LIMITATIONS ON ENTRY
Participants must purchase a vehicle at Castle Hill Hyundai’s dealership between Thursday 2nd January 2014  8.00am – Monday 31st March 2014 6.00pm. Participants must also take delivery of their vehicle by Friday 4th April, 2014 to be eligible. Castle Hill Hyundai takes no responsibility for vehicles that are ordered, but cannot be delivered by 4th April, 2014 due to circumstances which are out of Castle Hill Hyundai’s control.
 
The customer is entitled to fill out one (1) entry into the draw, if they have purchased any new, demo or used vehicle from Castle Hill Hyundai. Entry is limited to one entry per vehicle purchase, if the customer purchases two vehicles new, demo or used he or she is eligible to enter twice and twice only. Entrants automatically forfeit their entry if the contract on their vehicle purchase is cancelled. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they are entered in the competition and they must physically put the entry into the barrel.

5. HOW TO ENTER AND SELECTION OF WINNERS
This competition is a game of chance. Entrants must have purchased a new, demo or used vehicle from Castle Hill Hyundai’s dealership between Thursday 2nd January 2014 8.00am – Monday 31st March 2014 6.00pm and must take delivery of the vehicle by Friday 4th April, 2014. The draw will take place at Castle Hill Hyundai, 2A Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154 on Sunday April 6th, 2014 at 12 noon. If the draw date changes for any reason, entrants will be informed in writing.

To be eligible to win, entrants must be present at the Castle Hill Hyundai dealership on the day of the draw, provide photo identification, proof of purchase and proof of vehicle delivery. Ten entries will be randomly drawn from the barrel. As entries are drawn from the barrel, if present, the entrant will choose at random a key. If an entrant is not present at the time of the draw, another entry will be drawn. All 10 entries will be drawn and keys chosen at random prior to any attempts to open the vault. One at a time, in order of drawing from the barrel, each entrant will be given the opportunity to try and open the vault with their key. The winner of the $20,000 is the valid entrant who has the correct key that opens the vault.

6. PRIZES
The prize will be $20,000, given in the form of a cheque.

7. NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
The winner must be present on the day of the draw at the Castle Hill Hyundai dealership, 2A Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154, provide photo identification, proof of purchase and proof of vehicle delivery to confirm qualification to be a part of the competition. The winner will be presented with the $20,000 cheque on the day of the draw at the Castle Hill Hyundai dealership. The winner’s name will be published in The Australian on Wednesday April 16th, 2014.

8. ENTRIES
All entries become the property of the Promoter. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after the closing date will not be considered. Incomplete entries will be disregarded. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for any late, lost or misdirected entries

9. A draw for an unclaimed prize may take place on 10th July 2014 at Castle Hill Hyundai, 2A Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154. Winner, if any, will be notified by email, phone or mail and their name will be published in The Australian on 12th July, 2014.

10. PRIVACY
The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate for these purposes.

11. COMPETITION TERMS
If for any reason a competition does not run for its duration due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter is not responsible for any:
(a) malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
(b) Failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter; nor
(c) Any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or down loading any materials in a competition.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
