Phone Number 1300 788 553. Promotion commences on Wednesday 20th November and finishes on 5th March 2014 at 11.59pm AEST. The promotion requires entrants to complete a written essay on why they need a holiday. Entries are open to Hightide VIP Members, family, friends and the general public. Entrants must be residents of Australia and over 18yrs of age. The Draw will be conducted at 79B Scarborough Street, Southport, QLD 4227. Entry is via www.hightidetotherescue.com.au or a link from www.hightide.com.au Entrants must complete the details and nominate the person and send the data by clicking "Submit entry". Competition will be promoted and linked through Facebook at www.facebook.com/HightideHolidays. Entrants must first "like" the www.facebook.com/HightideHolidays then complete the details in the form supplied. Entrants who opt in for future communications will be recorded within LeisureCom Travel Group's database. Members will be invited via enews, Facebook and sms text messages to enter the competition via the dedicated website and Facebook page as well as inviting friends or realities to join in the competition. They will be asked to provide some demographic details and/or membership information. Entrants will be required to write in 25 words or less why they or their nominated person, needs a holiday. They can nominate themselves, relative or friend. The essay must be original and a real life story based on: hardship or stressful life situation and why a holiday is needed or what they did to turn around a stressful situation and now need a "reward" holiday or someone who helps others and deserves a holiday. All stories will be approved by a Director of LeisureCom Group Pty Ltd prior to public display. If they cannot upload electronically they can post in their details to Hightide to the Rescue at PO Box 3419 Australia Fair, Qld 4215. At monthly intervals a Director of LeisureCom Group Pty Ltd will select one entry from the written essays which best displays "need a holiday" and receive a $300 accommodation voucher for a resort close to where reside or can travel. After the 20th February 2014, 20 of the best deserving "need a holiday" entries will be selected by a Director of LeisureCom Group Pty Ltd and the entrant will be advised by phone, email or sms of their selection and invited to provide a video or photos and more information on why a holiday is needed. These entries will be published on the Hightide to the Rescue and Hightide Holidays website and Hightide Facebook and listed in a special enews. Directors of LeisureCom Travel Group will select the most deserving five based on similar criteria to previous selections and announce the five finalists at 11:00 on Wed 26th February 2014. Each will be contacted and requested to advise where they will be at 11:00am on Wed 5th March 2014. A Director of the Company together with media personnel will visit the location of the one selected as the winner, at 11:00am Wed 5th March 2014 and present the major prize. The presentation will be live via the Internet and Social Media. The winner will be advised to members and general public via a special enews, Hightide Holidays websites, YouTube, internet and sms text broadcast. A video will be compiled of the presentation to the winner and their story. Local radio and press will be invited to cover the presentation or mention the promotion and results in their community features. Press articles will be supplied to "that's life!" for publication in their magazine and website as well as other life style publications. The video will be listed on Hightide Holidays website and Facebook (YouTube) for reference. |
