Highlights include Hitchcock’s 1949 thriller, Under Capricorn (pictured), a complex emotional mystery exploring the dark relationship between a couple played by Ingrid Berman and Joseph Cotton; French director Rene Clair's I Married A Witch (1942), about a father and daughter who lay a curse on the family who had them burnt at the stake; . Jacques Tourneur's British-made 1957 monster movie, Curse of the Demon (1957), 1936’s Things to Come based on HG Wells’ screenplay, and 1953’s Invaders from Mars, one of the first colour-film space movies, about a young boy who witnesses a flying saucer land on Earth.
