Martha Richardson Memorial Poetry Prize Competition Guidelines Opening date: 15 July 2014 Closing date: 15 October 2014 Poetry to 40 lines, open theme First prize: $1000 AUD Winner announced in November 2014 Entry form available online at www.ballaratwriters.com COMPETITION GUIDELINES Competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 years, including overseas applicants Entries must be the original work of the applicant Entries must not have been published, broadcast, or won a prize in any competition Entry fee is AUD$20 per poem There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit All entries to be in English, double-spaced and using a standard 12 pt font such as Times New Roman or Arial Applicants name must not appear on the poem Fees will not be refunded Do not send originals as submissions will not be returned Each entry must be accompanied by a Martha Richardson Entry Form No corrections will be accepted or correspondence entered into Copyright remains with the author The judges decision is final Winner announced in November 2014 Entries may be submitted via email OR in hard copy ALL SUBMISSION, PAYMENT & ENTRY INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON the Competitions page at http://www.ballaratwriters.com Ballarat Writers Inc is a non-profit organisation, Incorporation No. (A001874SK) |
