Win a double pass to Broke Fordwich's A Little Bit of Italy festival

BROKE 'FIX': Ben Sanger at Mount Broke Wines.

BROKE Fordwich in the Hunter Valley will take on a distinct Italian feel in April for the wine region's 10th annual food, wine and music community festival.

All things in the historic village of Broke Fordwich will become Italian during the April 11 to 12 festival, which is aptly named A Little Bit of Italy.

"We have had a great time in bringing to our festival the love for good food, wine, music, fun, warmth and friendship that is always Italian, and so reflective of the general way of life in the Broke Fordwich region," president of Broke Fordwich Wine and Tourism Association, Eden Anthony, said.

The festival now attracts more than 3000 people to the region during the weekend, which celebrates the traditional Italian lifestyle revolving around food, music, wine, family and community.

Starting in the main street of Broke Fordwich, visitors pick up a passport which outlines all the venues that were participating in the festival.

As they travel from venue to venue, festival-goers get their passport stamped to go in the draw to win $2000 worth of wine, food and accommodation.

To make getting around the festival easier, a shuttle bus would be available all weekend for $5 per day.

For more information about the festival go to brokefordwich.com.au.

The Examiner has two double passes, valued at $40 each, to give away to A Little Bit Of Italy. Each pass includes entry, souvenir tasting glasses and the shuttle bus for both days.
