Five Double Passes to Andre Rieu Cinema Event (http://static.bmamag.com/photologue/photos/cache/GIVEAWAY-Andre-Rieu_article_size_4.jpg) As part of a worldwide cinema event, a magnificent concert by the most popular classical music artist – André Rieu's 2015 Maastricht Concert - will be delivered via satellite to Capitol Cinemas Manuka on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July at 2pm. This will be the 11th year that ‘The King of Waltz’ and his famous 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra have presented this traditional concert series in Andre?’s beautiful hometown in the Netherlands. The maestro will work his magic as Maastricht’s medieval square - the Vrijthof - is dramatically transformed into a romantic open-air concert venue with dazzling light shows, spectacular fireworks and sublime music. Internationally, the event will be shown on around 1500 cinema screens in around 40 countries including the UK & Ireland, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Russia, The Netherlands, Germany, Iceland, Romania & France. As always, the concert will feature many notable guest artists and soloists, including 30 year-old Australian soprano Mirusia Louwerse, whom Andre? calls the “Angel of Australia” and Tasmanian-bon tenor Gary Bennett, who has been performing with André for ten years.
