Title: Starting Family Conversations - Win A Fair Go Board Game
Post by: tiggerlinda on Tuesday 19 May 2015, 12:46:39 pm
Australian children are taught the meaning of a “fair go” by their parents and teachers but what if they could play a board game which gives them an opportunity to experience what they have been taught?

What if the game brought families together and started conversations between the generations?

Fair Go is a family board game which has been invented by an Aussie teacher, Andrea Thompson.

It is suitable for 2 to 6 players aged 8+ and takes about an hour to play.

The information on the cards starts conversations about sustainability, tourism, IT and other important industries and to win, a player needs to do something great, (e.g. To be the best in the tourism industry, you need to protect a coral reef).

Players have to calculate how much money they will need to become an industry winner with the best reputation. They need to concentrate and predict what other players might do.

To learn more about the game, hear interviews, watch a “how to play” video, download simple rules translated into a number of languages and order a game for $49.95 (free postage), visit www.fairgogame.com.

For your chance to win this fantastic prize tell us in 25 words or less “How are you keeping the Aussie spirit of “Fair Go” alive in your family?”
