TICKET GIVEAWAY: TROPICAL HYPEISMS Win a double pass to see Tropical Hypeisms at the PACT on Wednesday 13 January at 7pm Tropical Hypeisms is a new solo work by one of Australia’s fiercest young dancers, Caroline Garcia. Off the back of a year of national and international presentations at Performance Space, MCA, ACMI, Underbelly Arts Festival and La Pocha Nostra’s Live Art Lab in Greece, amongst others, Garcia brings her hybridised aesthetic of cross-cultural dance and new media to PACT from 13 – 16 January. Tropical Hypeisms slides into the gaps between cultures, delving into experiences of tropical otherness and probing the timeless clichés of exotic femininity.
