Parking at this year’s 2016 BBX Royal Hobart Show There will be plenty of parking available at the Show this year with three options close to the Showground! See the Info and Map (bottom of page) for further info! Cnr of Goodwood Rd & Brooker Highway (opposite the Showground next to the Fire Station) Parking will be available here for the duration of the Show. The current road works will be scaled back significantly to allow for parking. Access will be via Acton Crescent only. There is no access off Goodwood Rd or the Brooker Highway. You will need to turn into Renfrew Circle off the roundabout at Howard Rd and then take the first left into Acton Crescent. Access to the car park is next to the Fire Stations rear driveway. Patrons can cross the Brooker Highway at a controlled pedestrian crossing directly to the Showground. Elwick Racecourse As always the racecourse will also be available for Show parking for the duration of the Show. Access is off Goodwood Rd. Patrons will need to cross Goodwood Rd at the controlled pedestrian crossing to the main carpark and then cross the Brooker Highway at a controlled pedestrian crossing directly to the Showground. Derwent Entertainment Centre FREE parking will be available at the Derwent Entertainment Centre for the duration of the Show. Access is off the Brooker Highway and patrons will need to walk to the controlled pedestrian intersection at Goodwood Rd / Brooker Highway. |
