The robots programmed by competing teams are SPHERES (Synchronized Position Hold Engage and Reorient Experimental Satellites) that reside on board the ISS. Teams compete in a simulation environment that mimics the real SPHERES and finalists are selected to compete in a live championship aboard the ISS. The University of Sydney is the Australian Regional Coordinator for Zero Robotics. |
