Selby & Friends launch their 2017 season with a national tour of Youth & the Dance.

Youth & the Dance highlights the diversity of the piano trio genre. The works range from a youthful Beethoven and Saint-Saëns and culminate in the ever-popular, folk-melody-inspired gem, the “Dumky” Trio by Dvořák. True to form within Selby & Friends’ rotating ensemble format, Artistic Director and pianist Kathryn Selby, AM has invited two internationally acclaimed guest artists for this tour of high-spirited works.

Dazzling rising star, Australian violinist Grace Clifford joins her and bravura American cellist Clancy for six highly anticipated concerts on the stages of Australian metropolitan and regional centres between 5-12 March.

Selby & Friends, Youth & the Dance will perform in Adelaide on Sunday, March 5, at 2.30pm at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide; in Sydney on March 8, at 7pm at the City Recital Hall; and in Melbourne on March 9, at 7.30pm at Deakin Edge, Federation Square.
