Win a fun lunch for you and your work crew catered by your favourite food truck

Remember a time when finding a food truck was either an act of sheer luck or the result of countless hours scouring through Facebook pages? This seems like a lifetime ago, because Brisbane City Council stepped up to the plate exactly one year ago and created the Brisbane Food Trucks website to make tracking your favourites a whole lot easier.

Avid readers of The Weekend Edition will be well aware that we’re all for a good food-truck feast. We’ve found you the best weekday food truck eats, the best food truck events and all of the best mobile street-food vendors this fine city has to offer (yes, we take our craft seriously and yes, you’re very welcome). But, we know you. We know you crave more. We know that every weekday at exactly 11:30 am you start thinking about your options (and your bank account), dreading a disappointing lunch. A soggy sandwich? Leftovers? The tuna you’ve had in your snack drawer since you started working there three years ago? Forget about it!

The Weekend Edition and Brisbane City Council are giving you the chance to win a fun lunch for you and 19 of your colleagues (look at you, Mr Popular!), all catered by your favourite food truck (valued at $500). Enter below for your chance to win!

All you need to do is go to the Brisbane Food Trucks website here and let us know what truck you’d like to see parked in front of your office while your co-workers carry you out on their shoulders, chanting your name like the darn hero you are. Ready?

Winner must have private land for the truck to park on (e.g. carpark), or be close to one of the Brisbane Food Trucks’ permitted locations. Competition closes Sunday August 6 at 11:59 pm. Winners will be contacted by phone and email.
