SAE Group: Win a 6.6kW Solar System Competition Terms & Conditions
1. The SAE Group Pty Ltd Win A 6.6kW Solar System draw will commence on Monday 16 March 2020 at 9am. The closing
date is 30 June 2020 at 5pm. The draw will take place on or before 3 July 2020 at 5pm.
2. Each valid entry received will be entered for 1 chance into the draw.
3. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions whether by entering online; sending an
email, placing an approved coupon in the entry box at the SAE Group Pty Ltd (“ SAE Group Pty Ltd”) stand or by mailing
entries to PO Box 6882 Tweed Heads South NSW 2486.
4. To qualify for drawing, all entries must be in before the closing date and time. No liability can be accepted for entries
lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
5. By entering this competition, you agree to an obligation-free, solar assessment on your home.
6. Proof of posting is no proof of receipt.
7. The promoter is SAE Group Pty Ltd ABN 34 143 698 864.
8. Only one entry per household.
9. No correspondence will be entered into other than with the winner.
10. The winner will be the first correctly completed entry (to include daytime contact phone number and email address)
selected at random from all entries received.
11. It is a condition of entry that the Promoter has the right to publicise, broadcast and communicate to the public the
names, characters, likenesses or voices of any entrants for any promotion or matter incidental to thePromotion.
11a. Entrants consent to their entry being read out on air and / or to their telephone and other conversations with the
Promoter being broadcast on air and communicate to the public on the website/s.
11b. Entrants may be required by the Promoter to participate in photo, recording, video and/or film session(s) (the
“publicity materials”) and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to use such publicity materials in any medium
(including, without limitation, the internet) and in any reasonable manner it sees fit, unless that person advises the
Promoter at the time of entering the Promotion that he/she wishes to retain his/her anonymity.
11c. Entrants also acknowledge that the publicity materials may be provided to the prize provider for the purposes of
promotional display.
12. The personal information supplied by entrants when entering this Promotion will be used by the Promoter in
accordance with its Privacy Policy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy by visiting the website for more information as entry
in this Promotion is an agreement to be bound by that policy. All entrants may have their details removed from the
Promoter’s database by simply contacting the Promoter or by sending an email to the Promoter on the contact details. If
details are removed prior to the conclusion of the Promotion and/or award of prize(s), entrants will forfeit their right to
claim any prizes.
13. In the event of an unclaimed prize a redraw will be held at 12.00 noon on Monday 3 August 2020 at SAE Group Pty
Ltd 28 Industry Drive Tweed Heads South NSW 2486. An unclaimed prize includes when the draw is made, and the person
drawn is deceased at the time of the drawing.
14. The promoter is not responsible for any printing, production, typographical, transmission or other errors or failures.
15. The SAE Group Pty Ltd Win a 6.6kW Solar System is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 excluding:-
- all employees of SAE Group Pty Ltd, their agents or anyone connected with the offer; and
- those with solar panels already installed on their house.
16. Please note that you must own your house and not be a tenant for solar panels to be installed on the premises and
SAE Group Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for this.
17. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure their roof is big enough for the solar panels. Winner must have an
unshaded, pitched roof space.
18. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure they are not in breach of any strata title by-laws by installing the solar
system on their roof.
19. After the Solar System has been installed the STC value is to be attributed back to SAE Group Pty Ltd.
20. From time to time we may make your details available to companies with products or services that may interest you.
Cross this box if you do not and your name and address to be disclosed.
21. Prize is non transferrable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
22. The prize value is up to $6,000.00 which will be used toward a solar system of the entrant’s choice from products
stocked and available from SAE Group Pty Ltd. System installation and delivery included in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine
Coast and Tweed metropolitan areas only.
23. The ability to export electricity through the solar panels is subject to the terms and conditions of the Electricity
Retailer you use, and beyond the control of SAE Group Pty Ltd. If you are approved by your Electricity Retailer you will
have to install an Import/Export Meter at a cost to be covered by you. In some exceptional circumstances the Electricity
Retailer may charge additional fees to export electricity.
24. The prize winner will be notified by phone and by email within 14 days of the draw, this will include the particulars of
how the prize is to be delivered and installed.
25. Winner must live within 100km’s from an SAE Group Pty Ltd depot/warehouse.
26. Prize is valid for a single storey, tile or tin roof only and solar installation only. This does not include any meter board
works that may be required to fit the system – this will be undertaken at the winner’s expense.
27. If the entrant wins and has submitted their electricity bill, purchased and installs solar with SAE Group between the
competition commencement and closing dates, they will then be reimbursed for their system up to 6.6kW or a
maximum of $6,000, whichever is met first.
