Win a bottle of Hobart Whisky Signature For our July bottle giveaway we travel south to a little Aussie island, you might have heard of it. Famous for many things but most importantly the birthplace of modern day Australian whisky. That's right this month we're giving away a Tasmanian whisky from this epic up-and-coming distillery, Hobart Whisky. The Prize: Hobart Whisky Signature is a marriage of small carefully selected American oak ex-bourbon casks. A satisfying light ex-bourbon cask single malt that delights with a solid malty foundation, some gentle spice and a long, complex finish. https://gleam.io/KL5LX/bottle-giveaway-hobart-whisky-signature Tasting Notes: Colour: Bright amber straw Nose: freshly baked apple pie with cinnamon, raisins, sweet crust pastry and vanilla custard. Palate: Marzipan icing with hints of vanilla bean over malty and clean oak foundations. Fizzy sherbet overtones lend this classic bourbon cask dram a lovely zing and brightness. A couple of drops of water serve to sweeten the sensation and open some subtle floral tones. Finish: Long and super clean with a lingering semi-sweet sherbet fizz with hints of almond providing a very pleasant semi- dry conclusion. A profoundly satisfying light and breezy bourbon cask single malt that delights with lots of zingy spiciness but also provides a solid malty foundation and a long and complex finish. Hobart Whisky's goal is to make the 'Signature' consistent and readily available from your favourite bar, restaurant, or bottle shop. They have decided not to restrict the ABV to a particular percentage and instead aiming to always cut the Signature release to between 46% and 50%.
