Spinel by Jo Mc Designs is a proud West Australian artisan business. Owned and managed by self- taught artist, Jo McCubbing, it launched a brand of wearable art silk garments in 2019.

Spinel represents Vibrancy, Individuality, Courage & Sophistication and is conscious of sustainability by using natural, delicate fibres such as silk and viscose for manufacturing into scarves and kaftans. The art is digitally printed onto the fabric using world renowned printer inks, thus furthering the sustainability and impact on environment.

Manufacturing is based in Western Australia.

Jo’s art takes inspiration and connection from the colours of the great Australian landscapes and natural flora.

Spinel’s range of Scarves/ Wraps are larger than the average scarf and made to be more versatile all year round.
