Hot 100 ‘Dive for a Diamond’ – Friday 12 February 2021 Terms and Conditions Contestants and officials must observe all signs and lifeguard instructions. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. No smoking is permitted inside the Wave Lagoon area. No alcohol or glass; management reserves the right to check eskies and bags. No diving or running is permitted – participants should enter and exit the Wave Pool safely. ; No bikes inside the Wave Lagoon area. All contestants must be competent swimmers. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove patrons from the Precinct. Management accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage. The Wave Lagoon will be evacuated if lightning is close by. If thunder is heard within 30 seconds or less after a lightning flash, lifeguards will evacuate the lagoons. All contestants and officials will need to leave the water and lagoon areas to seek shelter. Should the event be cancelled due to weather, the event will be postponed to the next suitable date deemed by NT Broadcasters and the Darwin Waterfront Corporation. Contestants and officials must take direction from Darwin Waterfront Corporation staff and contractors including lifeguards. For everyone’s safety contestants and officials must listen to the lifeguard for instructions and obey immediately. Contestants and officials indemnify the Darwin Waterfront Corporation/Northern Territory Government against any damages or accident claims that may arise as Instructions from Darwin Waterfront Corporation staff and lifeguards must be followed at all times. All contestants and officials must vacate the Wave Lagoon premise by 7:00pm. If anyone wishes to stay longer, an entry wrist band must be purchased directly from the kiosk. NT Broadcasters shall ensure the area is maintained in a neat and tidy condition at all times. NT Broadcasters is to provide the Darwin Waterfront Corporation with a list of people entering the lagoon prior to the event. |
