TERMS & CONDITIONS
Promotional Period
1. THBC (Tweed Heads Bowls Club) Win A 5-Night Stay at Hamilton Island
(“Promotion”) commences at 10am on Monday 18
th January 2021 and ends
Wednesday 24th March 2021 upon completion of the major draw night at 7:30pm
(AEDT).
Entry Requirements
2. Entry is open to all financial members of THBC
3. In order to participate in the Promotion, persons must be over 18 years of age
4. Members shall also receive an entry when they spend $20 or more at any food
and beverage outlet within the Club, (using cash or points) (does not include
gaming).
5. Bonus Gold Star Reward Each week the top 20 Gold Star Point earners shall
receive an entry into the draw. These recipients will receive an SMS notification
on Mondays. The Bonus Gold Star entries will be placed in the barrel for them.
6. Entries are to be placed in the barrel which will be located on level one.
7. The barrel will be emptied upon completion of the Major Draw night.
Draws & Prizes
8. The Major Draw Night takes place on Wednesday 26th March 2021, at 7:30pm
(AEDT)
9. The Major Draw Night will commence at 7:30pm (AEDT).
10.Members cannot provide a proxy for the Major Draw Night to determine a finalist.
11.Members must be present to claim their place as a finalist, each member will have
four (4) minutes to claim their place, if the member does not present themselves
to the promotions host within the four (4) minutes, a redraw will take place.
12.Winner names will be recorded in the major draw finalist book in numbered order.
13.One (1) member will be drawn out at the following times

General
1. Prize winners are advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize
winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the
acceptance of the prize.
2. The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or
all aspects of the prize, if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion,
that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to
safely participate in the prize.
3. THBC reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under this
promotion if there are any changes to the law which would render the promotion
or any prizes offered under the promotion unlawful.
4. Decisions of the management of THBC is final. No correspondence will be
entered into.
5. THBC Directors, Management and staff members are not eligible to participate
in the Promotion.
6. An independent scrutineer will be appointed on the night of the major draw.
7. Participation in the Promotion by a patron confirms acceptance of the terms and
conditions of the Promotion and the Club’s Rules and By-Laws in force from time
to time.
8. Should a prize winner consent to having his/her photograph taken, that selected
prize winner consents to having his/her name and photograph published in any
form of media and agrees to participate in any reasonable promotion requested
by THBC.
9. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including
due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention,
fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter,
which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper
conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion
to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
10.In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element
of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize
will be forfeited by the winner.
The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the promotion. The Promotion
is authorised under. A copy of the terms and conditions governing the promotion

promotional period.
