About this event The aim of the competition is to complete a jigsaw puzzle as fast as possible, in the shortest amount of time. The competition consists of two divisions that are held at different times, so you can register in both divisions. No experience level is required and children must be accompanied by an adult. There are prizes to be won for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in both divisions. First place in the individual division wins 2 return airfares to Europe in September 2022 to represent Australia at the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championships in Spain PLUS a private tour of the Ravensburger factory in Germany with 2 nights accommodation and entry to the Ravensburger Museum and Leisure Park. All registered jigsaw puzzlers will keep their competition puzzle that is sponsored by Ravensburger. CATEGORIES: PAIRS have 3 hours to assemble an unpublished jigsaw puzzle of 500 pieces. Entry cost, $30 per pair. INDIVIDUALS have 3 hours to assemble an unpublished jigsaw puzzle of 500 pieces. Entry cost, $20 per person. DETAILS: Date: Saturday 20th November 2021 Times: 10am - 1pm (Pairs), 3pm - 6pm (Individuals) Venue: Collingwood Town Hall, 140 Hoddle St, Abbotsford VIC 3067 *Registration for PAIRS start from 9am and INDIVIDUALS start from 2pm, so please arrive earlier before the competition commences. RULES: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of the individual division will be awarded to Australian residents only. The jigsaw puzzle box is not to be opened until the competition starts. In the event no puzzle is completed, the individual/pairs to complete the most of any given puzzle(s) will be deemed the winner.
