The Rotary Clubs of Kiama & Gerringong have come together to offer you the opportunity to win a Toyota Corolla Hatch Hybrid Ascent Sport Car!

About the Raffle

Promoter

The 2021 Kiama & Gerringong Rotary Car Raffle will be conducted by the Rotary Club of Kiama Inc and the Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise Inc. The benefitting organisations are the Rotary Club of Kiama Inc (ABN 86 961 648 773) and Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise Inc (ABN 66 150 620 868). The benefitting organisations are not-for-profit organisations.

Beneficiary

Net proceeds of the raffle will be in support of Rotary Club of Kiama Inc and Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise Inc to assist with each clubs respective Community Projects to help make a difference in their communities.

Recent major fundraising efforts include research into Melanoma; support for people living with Parkinson’s Disease; provision of Skin Cancer Screening Clinics; support for The Men’s Shed with related Mental Health initiatives.  Proceeds of this raffle will enable Rotary Club of Kiama Inc and Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise Inc to continue to provide support like this to worthy causes.

The Raffle starts at 6.00pm AEDST on 4 March 2021.  The Raffle closes at 5.00pm AEDST on 27 June 2021. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Relevant States/Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales, aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.

The Prize

Toyota Corolla Hatch Hybrid Ascent Sport 1.8L Auto CVT 5 Door

Frosted White Paint, Black Fabric Trim

Inclusions - Full tank of petrol, Dealer Delivery, CTP Green Slip Insurance, Registered in NSW for 12 months

*All optional extras at the winner’s cost.
**Any additional costs to have the vehicle registered in another state/territory will be at the winner’s cost.

The winner is responsible for making arrangements to claim their prize, including providing all necessary information and completing the necessary paperwork to transfer title and registration to the vehicle.

The vehicle will be available from the nearest Toyota dealer within NSW or ACT.

Prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

Maximum number of tickets

2,500 tickets available for purchase at a cost of $25.00 each.

Draw Details

The Draw will take place on Wednesday, 30 June 2021 at 6:00pm AEDST at Gerringong Bowling & Recreation Club, Pacific Drive, Werri Beach, NSW, 2534.

Draw Method

The raffle will be drawn using a Random Number Generator located on the Raffletix Website (www.raffletix.com.au)

Notification and Publication of Winners

Winner will be contacted by phone and email and listed on this website, and the Rotary Club of Kiama and Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise Inc Facebook pages and websites. Please check the relevant websites and the aforementioned Facebook pages for details.

Prize Claim Date

Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT.

If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight on Friday, 30 July 2021 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 2pm AEST on Saturday, 31 July 2021, at the Gerringong Bowling & Recreation Club, Pacific Drive, Werri Beach, NSW, 2534.  If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize.

Winners are to contact secretary@rotarykiama.org.au in order to claim their prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes.

If for any reason the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date
of the draw the various regulators in each State and Territory will be notified
and consulted as to how best resolve including timeframe for any redraw that
may be required.

Additional terms – Prize All optional extras and accessories, fuel, personal costs, and all other ancillary
or related costs are excluded. The winner must provide all information and
sign all documentation necessary to enable the Promoter to register the
vehicle in the name of the winner prior to collection.
Receipt of a Vehicle Prize is subject to the winner being able to lawfully take
possession of the Vehicle Prize and comply with all registration and
compulsory third-party insurance requirements of the state/territory in which
the winner elects to register that Vehicle Prize.
Additional terms - Privacy The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners reserve the right to send
marketing communications to any entrant that opts-in to receive
communications from the Promoter and its authorised marketing partners.
The entrant can advise the Promoter at any time if they no longer wish to
receive this information, by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at
secretary@rotarykiama.org.au.
The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners may continue to send
communications to the entrant for an indefinite period unless and until
advised otherwise by the entrant.
