Participation & Eligibility
1. Information on how to enter the Meet the Locals & WIN Competition forms part of these terms and conditions.
2. The Competition will commence at 7pm Monday 21 June 2021 and finish at 7am on Monday 12 July 2021.
3. To enter: Participants must log on to the Lakeside Shopping Centre Facebook page
(https://www.facebook.com/lakesideshoppingcentre ) with their personal Facebook account and click on the competition link.
They can also visit the website: www.lakesideshopping.com.au/locals Complete the entry form in full for their chance to win.
4. Participants entries will be counted once only.
5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with
the entry/claims process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and
omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not
constitute a waiver of those rights.
6. Entry is only open to residents of New South Wales, Australia. Employees of the promoter, the management company, lessees,
retailers and their staff are ineligible to enter.
Duration & Prizes
7. Winners will be randomly selected and win 1 x $100 Lakeside Shopping Centre Eftpos Gift Card on the following dates:
a. 3 Winners on 28 June 2021 after 7am
b. 3 Winners on 5 July 2021 after 7am
c. 4 winners on 12 July 2021 after 7am
8. The total prize pool is $1000 in Gift Cards. All prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable.
9. All Gift Cards are subject to the relevant Gift Card supplier’s conditions, including the following conditions which apply to the eftpos
prepaid gift Cards:
a. eftpos prepaid gift Cards are issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited ABN 30 131 436 532 AFSL 404131 (Issuer).
b. eftpos prepaid gift Cards are valid for use at any EFTPOS terminal in Australia and require activation before use;
c. eftpos prepaid gift cards must be activated within three (3) months of the issue date listed on your card
d. Activated eftpos prepaid gift Cards are valid for twelve 12 months from date of issue on the card. Upon expiration, the gift
card will not be available for use.
e. eftpos prepaid gift Cards are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash;
f. any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the eftpos prepaid gift Card are not included. This may include, for example,
any fees charged by merchants for using the Card, or currency exchange fees;
g. The Card is like cash and may not be replaced if misused, lost, stolen or damaged;
h. if for any reason a Claimant does not redeem the entire balance on the eftpos gift Card by its expiry, any remaining
balance on the eftpos gift Card will be forfeited;
i. any unused balance on the eftpos gift Card will not be redeemed as cash;
j. Redemption of the eftpos prepaid gift Cards is subject to any terms and conditions of the Issuer including those specified
on the eftpos prepaid Gift Card website located at www.activatethecard.com.au
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any complications associated with internet, networks or telephone lines including
bugs/viruses and server problems for whatever reason.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time.
Notification and Claiming Prizes
12. The Winner(s) will be notified by the email address or phone number provided on the entry form.
13. In the event that the prize winner(s) does not contact Lakeside Shopping Centre within 14 days to claim their prize we will assume
that the prize is unclaimed, new winner(s) will be selected at random after 7am on 26 July 2021.
14. The Winner(s) will be published on the Lakeside Shopping Centre Facebook Page & Instagram Account.
15. Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. The winner(s) must complete a prize collection form and collect their prize in person at Lakeside Shopping Centre
17. Where the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
18. Entrants must consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl.
photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further remuneration or
reference for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured,
distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
19. The promoter shall not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or
consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot
be excluded by law.
20. As a condition of accepting a prize, each winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the
Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
