BlueScope are generously giving away 4 x $4,000 small business advertising grants PLUS an Apple iMac computer valued at $2,499 to Illawarra businesses struggling during this lockdown.

Each month, between September to December, i98 will hold a draw where a small business will be randomly selected. The winning business will win $4,000 to spend on advertising and promoting their business through i98FM and an Apple iMac computer valued at $2,499!

A new winner will be announced each month.

Entry is only valid to Australian small businesses, whose registered trading address is listed in the Illawarra or Shoalhaven.

Having a turnover of less than $10 million per year
Has seen a greater than 30% decline in business turnover in the past 6 months

Entry Restrictions Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
Entry is only valid to Australian small businesses, whose registered trading

All definitions of a small business and entry criteria are subject to the Promoters
own discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age, identity or
appropriate business trading documentation in a form acceptable to the
Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant
will be ineligible for the prize.
If requested by the Promoter (in its sole discretion), entrants must sign an
indemnity, confidentiality or exclusion of liability form in order to be eligible to
win the Prize.
Winners may be required by the Promoter to participate in photo, recording
and/or video session(s) and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to use
such publicity materials in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit
without compensation or notification.
Winners must provide all relevant business information requested by the
Promoter in order to set up an advertising account. The information will be in
line with what is typically requested of any business that books advertising with
the Promoter.
Competition Period The competition starts at 9:00am (AEST) on Monday 30th August, 2021.
The competition entries finish at 8:45am (AEST) on Friday 17th December,
2021.
A new winner will be announced on the next Friday following each draw during
the contesting period.
Entry Method Web entry
During the Competition Period:
(a) Listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials and social media
posts to visit the Station Website and complete the online entry form by
providing their Business name, ABN, contact details and other relevant
details.
(b) Entrants may be contacted by i98FM to gather further information about
their entry. For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is contacted by a
representative of i98FM they are not entitled to claim any prize and
have not been deemed a prizewinner.
(c) Each entry correctly submitted within the timeframe specified by the
Station will be added to a monthly draw. The Station will randomly
select the winner from the monthly draw.
(d) The Promoter’s decision/s as to the operation and outcome of the
contest and the Promotion generally is at the Promoter’s sole and
absolute discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. If for
any reason the winner is unable to, or otherwise declines the prize/s,
the Promoter (at its sole and absolute discretion) may decide to replace
the winner.
(e) The Promoter is not responsible for incorrectly submitted, delayed,
corrupted or interrupted entries and reserves the right to fact check any
claims made in an entrants competition submission/entry.
(f) Once a business has entered the competition, they will be added to the
next monthly draw. Their entry will be valid for any subsequent draws
so long as no prize has been won by the individual.
Maximum Number of
Entries
Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish, however
entrants may only win one prize package each.
Draw Details A total of 4 draws will be conducted, as follows:
- Draw 1: 12:00pm AEST, on Wednesday 15th September 2021, at
i98FM
- Draw 2: 12:00pm AEST, on Wednesday 13th October 2021, at
i98FM
- Draw 3: 12:00pm AEDT, on Wednesday 17th November 2021, at
i98FM
- Draw 4: 12:00pm AEDT, on Wednesday 15th December 2021, at
i98FM
Winner will be announced on-air on the first Monday of each month
(subject to winner’s agreeance to appear on-air).
Draw location may change at the Promoter’s discretion due to COVID-19
restrictions imposed by the NSW Government.
Prize Details All winners will receive a $4,000 advertising campaign to use on i98FM and
an Apple iMac computer (valued at $2,499).
 Campaigns will be comprised of commercial airtime, promotional
airtime and social media exposure, based on the winner’s
promotional objectives.
 The prize may not be redeemed for cash by the winner and any
unused airtime will be forfeited.
 Winners will receive a dedicated Sales Executive to assist them in
executing their campaign as well as script and commercial
production.
 Winners will receive an Apple iMac Computer valued at a minimum
of $2,499) which will be supplied to them. Prize cannot be
exchanged or redeemed for cash or alternate product by the winner.
 Winners must approve scripts and any airtime booking before the
deadlines given, otherwise they may forfeit part or all of their prize.
 A dedicated commercial will be produced for each winner. Once the
commercial is approved by the winner and produced, any late or
additional changes may be subject to a fee payable by the winner.
 Airtime bookings will be placed in Breakfast, Morning, Afternoon and
Drive timeslots and are subject to availability on any given week.
 Prize winners must have their advertising campaigns booked in by
Monday the 2nd of May, 2022.
Total Prize Pool 4 x $4,000 advertising packages (including GST)
4 x Apple iMac Computers (each valued at a minmum of $2,499)
TOTAL PRIZE POOL = $25,996 (including GST)
Notification of Winners Winners will be notified:
- via email, telephone or on-air at the time of winning

Unclaimed Prize Draw
Date
The unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 12pm AEST Monday 2nd
May, 2022.
Prize Delivery Each winner will be contacted by an i98FM Sales Executive within two
weeks of the prize being announced to book in advertising campaign.
