TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Information on how to enter and prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 13 years or over.

3. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.

4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

5. Promotion commences on 8/12/2021 and closes at 11:59pm on 31/12/2021 (“Promotional Period”). All times throughout the Terms and Conditions will be based on Sydney local time, which will be AEST or AEDST (as applicable in Sydney on the relevant date).

7. To enter, individuals must then complete one (1) of the following during the Promotional Period:

Entry via Instagram: follow @LeeKumKeeAustralia, follow our page, tag a friend and comment to answer in 50 words or less the question “Tell us your favourite festive Lee Kum Kee sauce for your Christmas feast!” (“Promotional Question”) or:

Entry via Facebook:
(a) Visit the Promoter’s Facebook page
(b) like our page, tag a friend and comment to answer in 50 words or less the question “Tell us your favourite festive Lee Kum Kee sauce for your Christmas feast!”

8. For the avoidance of doubt, entrants’ profiles must be on public display and contain adequate details to allow the Promoter to identify the entrant for the entrant to be eligible for entry.

9. Any uploaded files must be submitted in accordance with the relevant platforms’ requirements.

10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

11. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

12. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.

13. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

14. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on the literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the Promotional Question. The judging will take place from 1/1/2022. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.

15. The winner will be notified by either Facebook or Instagram, depending on the platform used for entry.

16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. The best valid entry as determined by the judges, will be a Rice Cooker that doubles as a Slow Cooker PLUS a Kitchen Blender and packs of Lee Kum Kee Sauces. A total value of $500. The prize must be taken as offered.

18. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize/s will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.

19. If for any reason the winner does not take or claim the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.

20. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.

21. The total prize pool value is approximately (depending on retail price at the time of winning) A$500.

22. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
