Title: Win 1/10 Australian Geographic book packs - Sunday Telegraph - NSW Post by: culturebird on Sunday 01 May 2022, 07:30:22 am What do you know about Antarctica? Well, here's a book from Australian Geographic that's the first in a new series talking about the environment and climate change.
Created by Martine Allars and cartoonist Damian Hugo Castellini. Pip & Pete is a comic book series that follows the journey of two Aussie kids who are passionate about the planet and its wildlife. The first issue takes Pip and Pete on an Antarctic adventure, where they discover an oil spill and melting ice caps that threaten the lives of local wildlife. Following each story, the series will outline facts about the environment and provide further information on the featured wildlife. As well as Pip & Pete, Australian Geographic has also launched a book called Extraordinary And Endangered, supported by the state government's Saving our Species program. It also has a new book called Australia's Incredible Insects by entomologist and photographer Jessa Thurman. But, to celebrate their release, Funday has 10 book packs, each containing all three books, to give away. To enter, colour in Pip & Pete's Antarctic Adventure and ask your parent or carer to take a picture and email it to funday@sundaytelegraph.com.au. Please put Pip & Pete in the subject and fill in the coupon with your details so we can contact you if you are a winner. Adding those at the top of the email is also helpful as sometimes Harry finds it tricky to read handwriting. Entries must be in by Thursday so the winners can be published on the Health Hacker page in next week's Sunday Telegraph. Harry the dog and the Funday team will pick the 10 best entries to win. |
