FARM SAFETY CREATIVE COMPETITION Kidsafe Victoria’s Farm Safety Creative Competition has returned for 2022! The competition invites all Victorian preschoolers and primary school students to get creative and design educational materials that promote injury prevention on the farm, to learn about farm safety in a fun and engaging way. This year’s theme is ‘Farm Safety Heroes’, which centres around how we can all play a part in making the farm a safe experience for everyone, whether we live, work on, or are visiting a farm. The winning entries form the basis of a farm safety education campaign targeting Victorian parents and carers with important information on farm safety, which will run in early 2023. On top of great prizes available for winning entries in all categories, we’re also offering a $500 voucher to the three schools with the highest number of entries submitted! HOW TO ENTER Competition entry is free and open to all regional and metropolitan schools, early childhood centres and families in Victoria. Children can enter as a class, in a group or individually in their choice of entry type, including a video, radio ad, illustrated story, comic strip, poster or collage. Entries open Monday 7th March 2022 and close Friday 4th November 2022. To get started, please download the relevant competition pack below.
