Theme: Resilience and Mental Health Create your creative artwork using submit it online in any form be it either paintings, drawings, mosaics, photos, computerised images or other art mediums. Winning artwork will be selected by a panel of judges for virtual showcase at the Mental Health Month Launch on the 1st of October 2022. Open to all members of the community. Entry The entry is open to all mental health consumers/service users living in Australia. Awards The winning artwork will be showcased digitally at the respective states and territories launch event on 1 October 2022. The winning artist in each state will be awarded with prize money and trophy during the National Mental Health Month 2022. Prize: $500 Application closing date: 31st July 2022, 11:59PM Submission This is national online competition, all submissions are made through the web form. Terms and Conditions Entry: The entry is open to all mental health consumers/service users living in Australia. Entrance Fee: The entry is free of cost. Submission: This is a online art competition meaning the submissions are made online, open to nationwide individuals. Format & Labelling: Artwork image should be high resolution (png/jpeg and pdf accepted formats), the submission file name should follow as 'Artwork name - Artist Name'. Unacceptable Artwork: Artworks that are not suitable for photographic reproduction on a poster will not be accepted. Artwork deemed not appropriate for this competition by Mental Health Foundation Australia Board of Directors will not be considered. Artwork must be an original work submitted by the entrant. Judging: The Judging will take place after competition closes. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Judges’ favourable work: While the Foundation acknowledges the many difficulties faced by people living with a mental illness, the Mental Health Month Poster forms an essential part of the nationwide campaign to promote mental wellbeing. Entrants should be aware that artwork portraying an optimistic and positive image of mental health will be viewed favourably by the judges. Entrants Consent: By entering the competition, entrants give their express consent to the copyright of their artwork vesting in the Foundation if judged to be the winning artwork. Photography: The Foundation shall have the right to photograph artworks and publish those photographs for publicity purposes. Artwork Poster Presentation: The winning artist will be awarded at the Official Launch of National Mental Health Month on 1st October 2022 in respective states. All competition entrants, family, friends and fellow artists are encouraged to attend the Launch. Further details about the Launch will follow.
