Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter is Lendlease Property Management (Australia) Pty Limited ABN 61 002 894 153, Level 14, Tower Three,
International Towers Sydney, Exchange Place, 300 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo, NSW, Sydney 2000 (Lendlease).
Contact number is 08 9404 9013.
2. Only residents of Western Australia aged 18 of age or older (Participant), or under 18 years of age with parent/guardian
permission are eligible for the Competition.
3. The following person(s) are ineligible to enter the Competition:
a. employees of:
i. any retailer within Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City
ii. the Promoter; and
iii. the Promoter’s related bodies corporate (as that expression is defined in the Corporations Act 2001(Cth))
and associated agencies, companies and contractors;
b. or members of the Immediate Families of the employees. Immediate family means any of: a spouse or
domestic partner, ex- spouse or ex-domestic partner, de-facto spouse or ex-de-facto spouse, child or stepchild
(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece,
nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin.
4. The Competition commences at 10am on Saturday 5 November 2022 and closes at 5:30pm on Friday 16 December 2022
(Competition Period). The Promoter may extend the Completion Period at its sole discretion (Extended Competition
Period). Details of any Extended Competition Period will be posted on lakesidejoondalup.com.au.
5. References in these terms and conditions to the Competition Period include any Extended Competition Period,
where applicable.
6. To enter you must attend Santa’s Post Shop any time from Saturday 5 November 2022, 10am – Friday 16 December
2022, 5:30pm. At the post shop you must write a letter to Santa, using the post card provided, with up-to 3 wish list
items and a legible phone number. The post card must be mailed through “The Northpole Express” post box,
located at Santa’s post shop.
7. For the Participant to be eligible to compete in the Competition, each of the following must be satisfied:
The Participant must enter the Competition;
a. within the Competition Period;
b. in the strict manner specified on the Instagram Post for the Competition; and
c. by the method specified on the Instagram Post for the Competition in these terms and conditions
d. be based in Perth, Western Australia.
8. The first correct and eligible entry drawn will win their Christmas wish list, to the value up-to AUD $500.00. There
will only be one prize winner.
9. The draw will take place on Monday 19 December 2022 at Lakeside Joondalup, Centre Management. The winner
will be notified via phone call (using the number provided) by 4pm on Monday 19 December 2022.
10. Winner must claim their prizes by collecting it from the Customer Service Desk at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping
City from 4pm Tuesday 20 December 2022. Prize must be collected by Monday 20 March 2023.
11. A judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:
a. contains material considered by the Promoter to be inappropriate or offensive; or
b. was submitted in a manner considered by the Promoter to be inappropriate, which may include, but is not
limited to, actions relating to computer hacking, breach of copyright or other intellectual property rights
and actions that breach any relevant laws.
13. At the time of collecting the prize, the winner will be required to confirm their identity by producing such photo
identification and proof of Instagram profile as may be directed by the Promoter. If the winner is under the age of 18years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
14. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and is personal to the winner. It cannot be transferred, exchanged or
otherwise dealt with.
15. By entering into the Competition the Participant is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions, including
the Privacy Statement and the Privacy Policy.
16. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights which the Participant may
have under any law (including the Australian Consumer Law) which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by
agreement (‘Your Consumer Rights’). Subject to Your Consumer Rights, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or
damage however caused (including by negligence), suffered or incurred in connection with the Competition or any
prize. Any condition or warranty which would be implied by law into these terms and conditions is excluded.
17. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as is necessary at any time
from 1pm on Tuesday 21 March 2023 in order to distribute any unclaimed prize by that date.
18. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the entrants’
names and addresses may be used as detailed in the privacy collection statement which accompanies these terms
and conditions.
19. The Promoter may cancel the competition and not award the prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s
reasonable control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Competition
the Promoter will:
a) advertise that the Competition has been cancelled by placing a notice on lakesidejoondalup.com.au
b) promptly destroy all entries received; and
c) not use the personal information that any Participant has provided on the entry form.
