6 Competition Period Start Date & Time

Competition period commences on Thursday 1 December 2022 at 17:00PM (AEST).

Entries will be open for Entrants throughout the Competition Period. The Promoter reserves the right to tease the promotion prior to the Competition start date.

7 Competition Period Close Date & Time

Competition concludes on Thursday 15 December 2022 at 23:59PM (AEST).

The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the Competition subject to any direction from a regulatory authority.

8 Entry Restrictions

a. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry;

b. Entrants may enter more than once, however, only one (1) prize can be won;

c. Competition is not open to any person, including Australian residents, entering the Competition from outside of Australia;

d. Entrants acknowledge that they must be contactable by the Promoter to be successful. Entrants unable to be contacted in accordance with these terms for any reason will forfeit their prize/opportunity;

e. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible in the Competition and all entries of an Entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect or misleading information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid;

f. Entrants may be asked to provide a nominated valid postal address and email address as requested by the Promoter, at the Promoters discretion;

g. Entrants must be Australian residents and have a registered address in either NSW, VIC, SA, WA, NT, TAS or QLD;

h. By submitting an entry, the Entrant acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions;

i. Entries can only be made in an individual’s own capacity and no entry can be made for or on behalf of any other person, venture or organisation;

j. Competition is not open to:

- Employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved with the Promotion;

- Spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, or sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent) of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household); or

- Any person where that person or anyone from the same family or household has won a prize or prizes from the Promoter valued either individually or collectively at more than $1,000 in the six (6) months prior to the commencement of the Competition;

k. Entrants must adhere to the Terms and Conditions of Halcyon House and related entities when claiming the Prize and

l. All Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Promoter can rely on these Terms and Conditions, in particular if the Promoter only learns of an Entrant’s ineligibility after the Promoter has or appears to have awarded the prize to the ineligible Entrant. In those circumstances, the Promoter can require return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter.

9 How to enter

 

During the Competition Period:

Entrants (Instagram users) will be invited via Instagram posts and stories to follow both Natural Australian Kulture Pty Ltd (NAK HAIR) (@nakhair) and Lust Minerals (@lustminerals) on Instagram, “like” the original giveaway post and tag a friend.

10 Limitation on entries

Entrants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish, however the Winner will only win one (1) prize.

11 Prize Draw

Each valid entry submitted in the above specified Competition Period will go into the draw to win the prize.

The Winner will be drawn at random from the list of valid entries.

The draw will take place at NAK Hair Head Office, 7 Eagleview Place, Eagle Farm, QLD, 4009, on Friday 16 December 2022 at 9:00am AEST.

12 Prize Details

 

There is one (1) major prize to be won, for one (1) winner, and includes:

1 x Halcyon Signature Stay Package valued at $2,490 at time of competition. Includes:
2 x nights’ twinshare accommodation at Halcyon House in a Classic Room;
1 x bottle of Prosecco and 1 x Chef’s Plate in room on arrival;
Daily a la carte breakfast for two;
2x 4-course dinner at Paper Daisy Restaurant for two; and
60-minute Halcyon Spa treatment (massage or facial) for two people.
2 x NAK Hair Holiday Gift Packs valued up to RRP $500 (approx.);
2 x Lust Minerals Gift Cards valued at RRP $250 each (RRP $500 combined value);
Return economy flights for two people to Gold Coast Airport from any Australian capital city valued up to $1,000, in the form of a Travel Voucher; and
Return transfers for two from Gold Coast Airport to Halcyon House valued up to $350.
 

The Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or otherwise redeemable for cash and cannot be taken in parts. The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Any alterations to confirmed flight and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the Winner.

Prize valid for one (1) year from Prize Draw date.

Accommodation must be booked by Monday 31 July 2023.

13 Total Prize Value

Up to a maximum of AUD $4,840 (including GST).

14 Winner Notification

 

The Winner will be notified via Instagram if they have been successful in winning a prize on Friday 16 December at 9:30am AEST.

Winners will be notified directly through Instagram messaging.

15 Prize Claim and Delivery

 

Prizes must be claimed by 16.00PM (AEST) on Monday 16 January 2023. Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited, and the prize will be re-drawn.

Winners may be required to prove their identity and show evidence as documented on their birth certificate, driver’s licence or passport before any prize is rewarded.

Winners may also be required to provide any documentation which the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s insurer reasonably requests for the purposes of prize redemption.

If the Prize has been arranged for a certain time / date, then the Winner must be available to take this as specified by the Promoter. If the Winner is unable to facilitate this, then they may be required to forfeit the Prize.

The Promoter will not be liable for prizes that are damaged or lost in the mail or not delivered to the winner due to external circumstances outside of the Promoter’s control. No compensation or replacement prizes will be offered.

Prizes may be provided to the Winner by the Promoter or the Prize Provider and will be delivered to the Winner’s residential address via mail and delivered via email.

Where the prize is a physical products or gift card:

Mail & Email - The prizes may be provided to the Winner by the Provider and can be delivered to the Winner’s residential address via mail or delivered via email

Where the prize is travel

Verification requirement – The prize must be claimed by the Winner providing the Promoter the full names and contact details of the travellers as per a valid form of identification.

16 Prize Claim Date and Time & Unclaimed Prize Draw

Prize must be claimed by 16:00PM (AEST) on Monday 16 January 2022.

If the Winner does not claim their prize(s) within the specified period, they will forfeit their prize.

Unclaimed prize draw

A re-draw will then take place at NAK Hair Head Office, 7 Eagleview Place, Eagle Farm, QLD, 4009, on Tuesday 17 January 2023 at 9:00am AEST.

The Winner of the redraw will be drawn at random from the list of valid entries. The Winner will be notified via Instagram if they have been successful in winning a prize on Tuesday 17 January at 9:30am AEST. The winner will be notified directly through Instagram messaging.

17 Special conditions

General

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the award of any prize or the pronouncement of a Winner/s (as applicable).

Prizes awarded are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the Promoter.

Should any elements of the prize be changed, moved, cancelled or not available for any unforeseen reason or for reasons outside of the Promoter’s control (including, for example, COVID-19), the Promoter takes no responsibility, and the Winner/s will not be compensated.

Prior to acceptance of any prize, the Promoter may require the Winner to sign documents including a prize acceptance form. Any Winner that fails to sign any required documentation as requested by the Promoter may be disqualified from the promotion.

Should there be any technical malfunctions for any reason, the Promoter has the option to extend the time period for giveaways and/or change the specified day. The Promoter will then stipulate on online or on social the new end time of the competition.

Information collected

The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that their personal information will be collected for the purpose of administering the competition and arranging for the prize to be provided to the winning Entrant, and otherwise in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, found at https://nakhair.com.au/privacy-policy.

Contesting dates

Contesting dates for prize giveaways is at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. Should for any reason the contesting dates need to change (for example, due to any changes to prize availability) the Promoter will communicate the date change on online and/or on social. The Promoter also has the option to extend the existing contesting day should it be required for any reason.
