The following stipulates the Terms and Conditions of entry into The Farmers Wife Summer Wardrobe Giveaway (the competition). By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. The Farmers Wife is located at 49 Albert St, Creswick VIC 3363.

Competition Duration

The competition commences on 5 December 2022 with entries closing on 10 January 2023 (AEST). One winner will be drawn by an official at The Farmers Wife, located at 49 Albert St, Creswick VIC 3363 on 11 January 2023 between 9am – 5pm (AEST).

Method of Entry

To be eligible for the competition, the entrant must submit their contact details on The Farmers Wife website entry form which can be found at www.thefarmerswifestore.com.au

To be eligible, entrants must be over 18-years-old. Only one entry per person is permitted.

The Farmers Wife reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person/s for tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries, or any other process as determined by The Farmers Wife that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion.

Judging

One winner will be drawn by an official at The Farmers Wife, located at 49 Albert St, Creswick VIC 3363 on 11 January 2022 between 9am – 5pm (AEST).

In the event that a winner is disqualified, General Competition Entry Rules will apply and a new winner may be selected.

If the entrant is found to be in breach of the competition Terms and Conditions the entrant may be required to return the prize or reimburse the value of the prize to The Farmers Wife.

The winner will be contacted on 11 January 2022 by email between 12pm – 5pm (AEST).

The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.

The Prize

The Farmers Wife Summer Wardrobe Giveaway prize will be a selection of clothing from The Farmers Wife store worth up to $1,000.

Indemnity

In the event a winner chooses not to accept the prize, they forfeit any and all claims to the prize which will then be transferred to The Farmers Wife. The unclaimed prize [which may be of a lesser value] may then be awarded to a second entrant. The competition prize pack cannot be redeemed for a cash prize.

The Farmers Wife shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered or sustained (including but not limited to consequential loss), including for personal injury or property damage suffered or sustained, as a result of accepting any prize or participation in any competition or prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Any person who enters the competition releases from and indemnifies The Farmers Wife from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in any competition including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission, or otherwise, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Once the prize is in the possession of the winner, should they be lost, stolen, or misplaced, The Farmers Wife will not replace the prize and is not liable or responsible for the lost, stolen, or misplaced prize. The winner is solely responsible for any taxes and fees associated with the receipt and use of the prize and any additional costs are not the responsibility of The Farmers Wife.

Termination

The Farmers Wife may terminate the contest at any time at its absolute discretion. In the event of such termination, The Farmers Wife may at its discretion elect not to award any prize in respect of the terminated contest.

The Farmers Wife assumes no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft or unauthorised access to or altering of entries.

If for any reason, the competition is not capable of operating as planned, including infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of The Farmers Wife, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition, then The Farmers Wife reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

Copyright and Personal Information

All competition entry information will become the property and copyright of The Farmers Wife and may be used for promotional purposes. Copyright in any such material remains the sole property of The Farmers Wife.

Email addresses used for the giveaway entry may be entered into The Farmers Wife email database for marketing purposes. If you wish to opt out of receiving direct marketing communications, you may do so at any time by using the "Unsubscribe" link clearly labelled at the bottom of all email marketing correspondence.
