Information on how to enter this “Promotion” and the prize forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
The “Promoter” of this Promotion is Hino Motor Sales Australia Pty Ltd, 6-10 Parraweena Rd, Caringbah NSW 2229.
Entry to this Promotion is only open to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or older (“Eligible Entrants”).
The Promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon criteria outlined in clause 9. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
The Promotion will be communicated on all Hino Australia social and digital channels.
There is no entry fee.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and Hino dealer and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences at 10:00am on Tuesday 19th April 2022 and ends at 11:59pm on Thursday 30th March 2023. (“Promotional Period”). No entries outside of the Promotional Period will be permitted by the Promoter unless specified otherwise. All times indicated in these Terms and Conditions are in AEDT, unless specified otherwise.

The key criterion is the originality and ability to showcase why your story should be considered for Hino Hero of the Year.
Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the required fields will be deemed invalid and will not be accepted by the Promoter.
Eligible Entrants may enter once only and not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent these Conditions of Entry. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions of Entry, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the “Winner” of this Promotion to provide proof of identity, ages and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner is unable or unwilling to satisfy the aforementioned identification conditions, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
The winners will be confirmed on the following dates:
Minor prize: Monday 9th May 2022, Monday 13th June 2022, Monday 11th July 2022, Monday 15th August 2022, Monday 12th September 2022, Monday 17th October 2022, Monday 14th November 2022, Monday 12th December 2022, Monday 9th January 2023, Monday 13th February 2023, and Monday 13th March 2023. The winner will be notified by phone or email within 48 hours of being confirmed to obtain postal address details.
Major Prize: Friday 31st March 2023 and announced on Hino Australia Facebook page. The winner will be notified by phone or email within 48 hours of being drawn to obtain postal address details.
The prize draw will take place at HMSA head office, 6-10 Parraweena Road, Caringbah NSW 2229. All entries will be judged based on the criteria set out in clause 9.
The Promoter will record the Winner and “Back-Up Winners” in order of preference. In the event that an ineligible entry is confirmed, or the Promoter is unable to contact the Winner within 48 hours of the prize draw, having made reasonable attempts to do so, the Promoter may deem that Winner’s entry invalid, and the new Winner will be the first valid Back-Up Winner’s entry that was selected. Should this occur, the new Winner will be notified by phone or email.
There are 2 prizes to win under this promotion and are as follows:
Minor prize: One (1) winner in May 2022, One (1) winner in June 2022, One (1) winner in July 2022, One (1) winner in August 2022, One (1) winner in September 2022, One (1) winner in October 2022, One (1) winner in November 2022, One (1) winner in December 2022, One (1) winner in January 2023, One (1) winner in February 2023, and One (1) winner in March 2023, will win ONE (1) IRWIN tool kit each valued at AUD$500 including GST each and a Bunnings Voucher of AUD$300 including GST.

Each month the winner will also gain free advertising and have their story shared on the Hino Hero main landing page on the Hino Australia website https://www.hino.com.au/hino-heroes/ and a post will be scheduled on the Hino Australia Instagram and Facebook page. In addition, being featured in the Hino E-Newsletter. Please note original content submission may be amended to fit with Hino corporate guidelines and approval will be required from the winner prior to execution.

Major Prize: One (1) out of the eleven (11) minor prize winners will win the major prize of a Supercars VIP Corporate Experience (“Event”) the winner the for a Supercars round in 2023 of their choice approximate value of AUD $4,700 including GST, which is for “You and a Friend”.
Depending on what Supercars round in 2023 is chosen, the experiences may vary but the Promoter will try and include if available:
(a). 2 x tickets to weekend corporate hospitality tickets which may include: Exclusive access, unrestricted entry to circuit, Food and Beverage Package including, breakfast and morning tea, buffet style lunch, and beverage package (beer, cider, wine, soft drinks, tea, and coffee.) Note that infants and children under 18 years of age are not permitted in the Bar. The minimum dress code required for entry is smart casual. Tank tops, singlets, sports shorts and thongs are not permitted.
(b). 2 people to receive 1 “Behind the Scenes Tour” including the “Hino Hub”, television production, media centre and podium experience.
(c). 2 x General Admission tickets for the days that corporate tickets are not available.
(d). 2 people to receive 1 “IRWIN Pit Tour” which includes meeting the team owner and experience the behind-the-scenes workings of an elite motorsports team garage.
(e) 2 people to receive a Supercars course car ride; and
(f). 2 x “IRWIN Racing Merchandise Packs” which can include a racing cap, Racing T-shirt, can cooler and bag, whatever is available at the time of the Supercars chosen round.
(g) 1x $1,000 VISA gift card to spend over the chosen Supercars weekend.
