Golf Australia magazine is, with your help, embarking on a search for the best 18 holes in the nation. And, by assisting us, you will go into the draw to win new custom-fitted Titleist equipment worth $5,000.

Get any group of golfers together for a discussion regarding courses, and their various virtues and pitfalls, can lead to some lively conversation.

When the banter veers onto the topic of individual holes, the chat can become – understandably – quite animated.

With so many great golf holes spread across the Australian golfing landscape, we thought it was time to acknowledge the best of the best. So, until May 17 you will have the chance to nominate the best holes in the country.

We want you to nominate the best 1st hole, the best 2nd hole, best 3rd hole and so on. We will then count all the votes to ultimately establish Australia’s Greatest 18, which will be published in a special feature in our July 2023 edition.

If you want a reminder of some highly acclaimed holes before submitting your nominations, grab a copy of Golf Australia magazine for suggestions by some of our Top-100 Courses ranking judges – Holes 1 to 6 (March issue), Holes 7-12 (April issue) and Holes 13-18 (May issue).
