TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

The following terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) apply for your chance to win the rewards on offer (the Promotion). By submitting an entry into the Promotion, the entrant warrants that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

 

1. The promoter of the Promotion is Cover Syndicate Pty Ltd (QBD Books) ABN: 54 614 038 765 whose premises are at 30 Enterprise Street, Richlands QLD 4077 (Promoter).

 

2. The Promotion is administered by TLC Marketing Worldwide Australia & NZ Pty Ltd, ABN 75 622 802 180, Level 28, 161 Castlereagh St, Sydney NSW, 2000, Australia (“TLC”). All correspondence regarding this Promotion should be directed to this address.

 

3. The Promotion commences at 12.01am AEDT 3 April 2023 and concludes at 11.59pm AEST 15 May 2023 (Promotional Period). Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter in its promotional database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.

 

Key Dates:

The Promotion is open for Qualifying Purchases (defined below) made between 12.01 am AEDT on 3 April 2023 and 11.59 pm AEST on 15 May 2023 (“Purchase Period”), or while stocks last.
Registration is open between 12.01 am AEDT on 3 April 2023 and 11.59 pm AEST on 29 May 2023 (“Registration Period”).
All Reward Access Codes will be valid for 6 months upon issue or by 15 November 2023, whichever is sooner. (“Redemption Period”).
When a reward voucher is redeemed the validity/expiry date will be clearly outlined in the email to the customer.
The Free Cinema voucher will be valid for 48 hours upon issue or by 17 November 2023, whichever is sooner.
The $20 Entertainment voucher will be valid for 72 hours upon issue or by 18 November 2023, whichever is sooner.
The Free Photo Book, $20 Days Out voucher and the $50 Accommodation voucher will be valid for six (6) months upon issue of by 15 May 2024, whichever is sooner.
The $10 QBD Books Vouchers will be valid until 31st December 2023.
 

4. The Promoter and TLC reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including any entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that the Promoter and TLC, in its sole discretion, deems to be offensive, inappropriate, defamatory or otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the Promotion.

 

5. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the discretion of the Promoter and TLC. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

 

6. A person may enter the Promotion as many times as they like as long as they enter a different Unique Code each time.

 

How To Enter

7. To enter, customers must purchase $40 or above in a single transaction in any of the 86 participating QBD Books stores across Australia or online at www.qbd.com.au. The customer needs to retain the Unique Code printed on the receipt or order confirmation for registration purposes.

 

8. Customers must then register their Unique Code and upload their proof of purchase via the promotional website www.qbdbookspendandwin.com.au within 14 days from the date of purchase or by 29 May 2023, whichever occurs sooner.

 

9. The only persons who may enter and be awarded rewards are Australian residents and who are over the age of 14 and are not employees of the Promoter or TLC or the immediate family of employees. Persons under the age of 18 can enter with parent/guardian consent.  “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee. (Eligible Entrant).

 

10. Registration will only be valid if the fields within the advertised promotional website are completed in full, and the entry is deemed as received by TLC prior to the conclusion date as detailed above under Key Dates.

 

11. Once an Eligible Entrant’s registration has been successfully submitted, the customer will receive an email containing the Reward Access Code needed to redeem their reward. All Reward Access Codes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

 

 

How to Redeem a Prize

12. When ready to redeem their reward, customers simply return to the promotional website www.redeem.qbdbookspendandwin.com.au and complete the redemption form to redeem a Reward Voucher.  A Reward Voucher will then be emailed to the customer within three business days along with the validity dates of the reward.
