Using a Gift Card
9.2 The Gift Card can be used at any the Promoter’s participating site’s Australia wide. List of participating sites attached in Schedule 1 (Promoter’s Participating Site’s).
9.3 The Gift Card will be activated by the Promoter. Prior to this the Gift Card holds no value.
9.4 Cash advances cannot be withdrawn from the Gift Card.
9.5 Balance enquires can be provided by asking in store or by calling Customer Service on: 1300FUEL UP (1300 383 587)

Expiry Date
9.6 Gift Cards will be valid for 36 months from the date of issue. The Gift Card is not valid for use after the expiry date and any purchase sought to be made with the Gift Card after expiry will be declined.
9.7 Unused value on the Gift Card after expiry will not be refunded or credited.

Fees and Charges
9.8 There are no fees or charges associated with the Gift Card.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The following terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) apply for your chance to win the prizes
on offer (the Promotion). By submitting an entry into the Promotion, the entrant warrants that they
have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. The promoter of the Promotion is United Petroleum Pty Ltd ACN 085 779 255 whose premises
are at, 600 Glenferrie Rd, HAWTHORN VIC AUSTRALIA 3122 (Promoter).
2. The Promotion commences at 12.01am Thursday 6
th April 2023 and concludes at 11.59pm
Wednesday 10
th May 2023 (Promotional Period). Entries are deemed received at the time of
receipt by the Promoter in its promotional database and not at the time of transmission by the
entrant.
Key Dates:
i. The Promotion is open for purchases made between 12.01am AEDT on Thursday

th April 2023 and concludes at 11.59pm Wednesday 10
th May 2023
(Promotional Period).
ii. All prize winners will be published by 13th May 2023 at
www.unitedpetroleum.com.au
iii. Unclaimed prizes will be notified publicly (and their details published) at
www.unitedpetroleum.com.au 7
th June 2023.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants
(including any entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who
submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, who tampers with
the entry process or who submits an entry that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems to be
offensive, inappropriate, defamatory or otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the
Promotion.
4. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete,
indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. A person may enter the Promotion as many times as they like, with multiple receipt numbers
and can be eligible to win multiple prizes during the Promotional Period, provided they meet the
requirements for entry in respect of each entry made.
6. To enter customers must purchase, one (1) participating promotional product highlighted in
store at selected United Petroleum Sites (list of participating stores attached). The customer will
need the receipt number from the proof of purchase to enter online. Details to enter can be
found on the how to enter card provided by the console operator.
7. The customer must register at win.unitedpetroleum.com.au/1000everyday (Website) here they
will need to enter the receipt number from their proof of purchase and their contact details.
Entries will be verified by the Promoter and a winner randomly drawn each day.
8. Entry will be considered only if the fields within the Website are completed in full with a valid
receipt number and the entry is received prior to the conclusion date as detailed.
9. The prizes are one of thirty-five (35) gift cards for exclusive use at the Promoter’s participating
service stations, in denominations of $1,000 (Gift Cards). The total promotion prize pool value is
$35,000. The total prize pool of $35,000 will be made up of thirty-five (35) $1,000 Gift Cards. The
Gift Cards are subject to the Promoter’s Gift Card Terms and Conditions (listed below).
Promoter gift card Terms and Conditions
9.1 These terms and conditions apply to the Gift Cards and were last updated on the 10 March 2022.
At time of acquiring the Gift Card, you are accepting and agreeing to the terms of use and
conditions set out herein. Additionally, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the
Promoter.

Resale
9.9 Resale of the Gift Card is strictly prohibited.
Cash Advances or Refunds
9.10 It is not possible to exchange your Gift Card for any other gift or service at any of the
Promoter’s Participating Sites.
9.11 Once acquired the Gift Card cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Liability
9.12 Once received by the customer, the Promoter is not liable for the Gift Card.
9.13 The Gift Card is to be treated like cash. Damaged, defaced, altered, lost or stolen Gift Cards
will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.
Changes of Terms of Use
9.14 The Promoter may add or change terms of use and conditions at any time. These additions
or changes will be available online when changed. For further information on the card or to
check balance remaining on the card, please call 1300 FUEL UP (1300 383 587) or ask in store.
10 Prizes will be drawn on the 13th May 2023 at the Promoters office at 600 Glenferrie Road
Hawthorn VIC 3122. The Promotion winners will be notified via phone and email. Winners will
be announced on the Promoter’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/unitedpetroleum)
and website (www.unitedpetroleum.com.au).
11 The Promotion winners will be provided with a Gift Card to the value of $1,000.
12 The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are Australian residents over the age of
18 who are not employees of the Promoter or the immediate family of such employees.
“Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same
household as the employee (Eligible Entrant).
13 If any Promotion winner is not an Eligible Entrant, the prize will be deemed forfeited.
