Possum Magic Colouring-In Competition Description Grandma Poss made bush magic. She made wombats blue and kookaburras pink. Join us in celebrating 40 spellbinding years of the beloved children’s book Possum Magic with our magical colouring-in competition! Drawing inspiration from Grandma Poss, use a variety of different art and craft supplies such as glitter, coloured paper, pom poms, crayons, and pencils to get creative and make your entry unique. One lucky winner and highly commended entry will be selected from the competition categories of ‘Ages 3 – 5’ and ‘Ages 6 – 8’. Each winner will receive a gift voucher for a family pass (four tickets) valued at $90, to see one Kids and Families season performance at The Joan in 2023. The highly commended entrants will be awarded with a Possum Magic Book & Toy Gift Set, valued at $15. Entry is valid for Penrith City Libraries members aged 3 – 8 (as of Friday 28 April 2023) only. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 2. The Promoter is Penrith City Libraries in collaboration with Penrith Performing & Visual Arts (Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre). o Penrith City Libraries – 601 High Street, Penrith, NSW, 2750. ABN: 43 794 422 563. o Penrith Visual & Performing Arts (Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre) - 597 High Street, Penrith, NSW 2750. ABN: 97 003 605 089. 3. Entry is open to current Penrith City Libraries members aged 3 – 8 years old as of Friday 28 April 2023. 4. Entries can be submitted in person to staff at any Penrith City Libraries branch including Penrith, St Marys, or St Clair, during opening hours from Monday 10 April – Friday 28 April 2023. 5. This is a competition of skill. Entries will be judged on merit. The judging will take place at Penrith City Library, 601 High Street, Penrith, NSW, 2750 on Thursday 4 May 2023. The Promoter reserves the right to select reserves in case of an invalid entry or invalid entrant. 6. By entering, Entrants understand that they will need to provide their information to the Promoter to claim the prize. 7. A Winner and a Highly Commended entry will be selected from each of the following categories: o Ages 3 – 5 o Ages 6 – 8 8. The Winner of each category will receive a prize consisting of one x family pass (four tickets) to see one 2023 Kids & Families season performance at The Joan, 597 High Street, Penrith, NSW, 2750. Each Winner can select to see a performance of either Hamlet: Prince of Skidmark (13 – 14 July) or Alphabetical Sydney: All Aboard! (29 – 30 September). The winners will be able to select their preferred performance date and time (subject to availability). Total prize value per winning entry is $90.00. 9. The Highly Commended of each category will receive a prize consisting of one x Possum Magic Book & Toy Gift Set. Total prize value per Highly Commended entry is $15.00. 10. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on all competition entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. 11. The Winners and Highly Commended entrants will be notified by Penrith City Libraries via email or phone on Thursday 4 May 2023. Winners will be able to collect their prize from the Penrith City Library branch following this. Each Winner will be presented with a gift voucher redeemable at The Joan’s Box Office for one performance in The Joan’s 2023 Kids and Families Season. Each Highly Commended Winner will be presented with one Possum Magic Toy & Book Set. 12. A photo of the Winners and Highly Commended entrants will be taken upon collection of their prize at Penrith City Library. Their first names, age category and photo will be published in a post on Penrith City Libraries, The Joan and Penrith City Council’s websites and social media pages. 13. All entries will remain on display at the Penrith City Library branch until Friday 12 May 2023. They will, however, be moved and displayed at The Joan for the duration of the season of Possum Magic, 4 – 6 May 2023. After this, they will be retained by Penrith City Libraries for archival purposes. 14. If for any reason this promotion is cancelled or is not capable of running as planned, due to an intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes: the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation. 15. If for any reason the Winners or Highly Commended entrants does not take an element of their prize stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the Winner or Highly Commended entrant and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 16.
