The Hall Road Upgrade Carrum Downs’ Open for Business Spend and Win Competition (Promotion) is being distributed by and on behalf of The State of Victoria, through Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV), a division of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority, an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport and Planning, of Level 25, 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne ABN 69 981 208 782 (Promoter). Select businesses within the Hall Road Upgrade project (Project) area are invited to participate in the Promotion (Trader/s). To encourage shopping during major works near the Hall Road and McCormicks Road intersection, the Promoter is offering customers who spend at least $10 per transaction at a participating Trader during July, August and September 2023 a chance to win a prize. Eighteen prize packs, each consisting of a total of $150 worth of goods or gift vouchers from local businesses in the Carrum Downs area, are available to be won. Participating Stores The full list of Traders participating in the promotion is listed in full below at clause 33 (Participating Store/s): Terms and Conditions The Promoter is Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV), ABN 69 981 208 782, whose principal office is at Level 25, 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. This Promotion is being conducted in accordance with these Hall Road Upgrade project ‘Carrum Downs’ Open for Business Spend and Win Competition’ Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. How to enter Submit a Promotion entry form with proof of purchase via our Hall Road Upgrade project Carrum Downs Open for Business Spend and Win competition online form. (Entry). Spend $10 or more at a Participating Store between 9am, Monday 3 July 2023 and 5pm, Monday 4 September 2023 (Promotion Period). Eligibility The Promotion is open to Victorian residents aged 18 years or over (Eligible Individuals). The following are ineligible to enter any employee, contracted staff or service provider of the Promoter or Participating Store; or any spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child, sibling or any other family member of an ineligible employee, Contractor staff of service provider (Ineligible Individual). Promotion Period This Promotion commences at 9am Monday 3 July 2023 and concludes at 5pm, Monday 4 September 2023 (Promotion Period). Conditions of entry It is a condition of entering the Promotion that Eligible Individuals who complete and submit a valid entry form (Entrants) agree: to the collection of their personal information and the holding of that information in the Promoter’s database for the purpose of this Promotion; and to the publication of their name as set out in clause 14 of these Terms and Conditions. to the Promoter using the Entrant’s name in the event they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. There is no entry or participation cost for customers to participate in the Promotion. Only one Entry will be granted for each transaction of $10 or more, regardless of the total value of the transaction (e.g. for a spend of $10 in a single transaction, one entry will be granted. Similarly, for a spend of $200 in a single transaction, only one entry will be granted). Once a Winner is drawn, their Entry will be taken out from future draws during the promotion period. Eligible Individuals may enter the Promotion more than once provided an Entry attaching a different and subsequent transaction to any previous Entry submitted by an Entrant. An incomplete, indecipherable or illegible Entry will be deemed invalid. If a drawn Winner cannot be identified, an additional Entrant may be drawn and substituted as the Winner. The decision of MRPV shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winner notification Winners will be advised in writing within 28 days of the Draw Date and will be provided with details of how to collect the Prize Winners must claim their Prize within 14 days of the draw, at a location to be nominated by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs associated with collection of the Prize. If a Prize is not claimed within 14 days of the draw, MRPV reserves the right to draw a new substitute Winner for that Prize. Prizes The Winner will receive a one prize pack, consisting of a total of $150 worth of goods or gift vouchers from local business in the Cranbourne West area. There is no substitution of the goods or gifts vouchers contained in a prize pack. (the Prize/s) General The Promoter reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the Promotion at any time. The Promoter is not responsible for the condition/quality of any goods or services offered by a Participating Store in relation to the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries (including contacting Participating Stores) and Entrants (including Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence or employment); and disqualify any entrant who: submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; or tampers with the Entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any additional expenses incurred by Winners other than those outlined in these Terms and Conditions, are the responsibility of the Winners. The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible entries. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damages whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Force Majeure If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion) the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion.
