Every time a financial member spends $20 or more on food, beverage or gaming turnover from July 1 with their members card, they receive an entry into the BIG CATCH draw. Members can enter as many times as they like! The Big Catch promotion will commence at 10am on Saturday 1st July 2023 and conclude on Sunday 27th August 2023 at approximately 5.30pm. 2. Hervey Bay Boat Club members will earn one (1) entry ticket during the promotion with every $20 play (turnover) on the gaming machines with their membership card inserted or with every $20 spend on food or beverage, (where card services are available and members card is swiped) at Hervey Bay Boat Club from 10am, Saturday 1st July 2023. a. $20 play (turnover) entries exclude participation in TAB, Keno, Bingo, Trivia and Raffles. b. $20 spend on food or beverage entries exclude purchases from Boat Club Adventure Cruises, the Caravan Park, Marloo Cinema movie tickets and Boat Club fuel. 3. Members can enter as many times as they like during the promotional times when they meet the entry criteria. 4. Members must validate their entries at least two (2) hours prior to draws by using their membership card to carry out one (1) of the following: swipe at the kiosk, insert into a gaming machine during gaming play or swipe when purchasing food or beverage. 5. All promotions are conducted using the Odyssey E-Draw system, no paper tickets will be issued. 6. Members must be present on the draw days and times to win. 7. Members selected from the electronic draw system have two (2) minutes to claim their prize from the specified draw area. If the selected winner does not present themselves to the promotion host within two (2) minutes of being announced, they forfeit their claim to the prize, and a redraw will be conducted to select another winner. 8. It is the responsibility of eligible members to position themselves within the Hervey Bay Boat Club where they can hear the public-address announcements. 9. Members must present their membership card to the promotion host. Additional proof of identity may be requested at the discretion of management. Draws will be conducted on the following draw dates: Sunday 9th July 2023 Sunday 16th July 2023 Sunday 23rd July 2023 Sunday 30th July 2023 Sunday 6th August 2023 Sunday 13th August 2023 Sunday 20th August 2023 Sunday 27th August 2023 On each of these draw dates, a total of seven (7) winners will be drawn, with draws at approximately 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm, 4.30pm and 5pm. Each winner selected will receive an entry ticket into the major draw, along with the chance to play the Big Catch Gameboard. Members will select three (3) cards from the game board of twenty (20) cards to reveal their cash prize. On each of the game cards there will be a cash prize value and a weight in kilograms. Members will receive the sum of all cash prizes on the cards selected. After the last draw of the night, the top three (3) members with the heaviest weight in kilograms (combined from their three selected cards) will receive a bonus cash prize: 1st place - $250 cash bonus 2nd Place - $150 cash bonus 3rd Place - $100 cash bonus In the event there is a tie with two (2) members accumulating the same weight the prize money for the podium position and the one below will be combined and split 50/50. Members can win a maximum of one (1) time each draw day of the promotion. Winners will receive the accumulation of cash prizes revealed on all cards chosen. Following the final draw on Sunday 27th August 2023, a major draw will take place for the major prize. The major draw prizes consist of: Two (2) x $500 cash One (1) x Quintrex 370 Explorer Boat Package valued at $12,490 A random number draw (1-56) will be conducted to find three (3) members who hold the corresponding major draw entry number (issued in order drawn throughout the promotion and listed on the prize register) and will participate in the major draw. The final members will stand behind one (1) of three (3) jerry cans and when instructed by the promotion host will lift the jerry can up and reveal their major prize at the bottom of the jerry can. As each of the three (3) members are selected they will choose a jerry can to stand behind. If the chosen member is not present, a re-draw will occur until a winner is found. Management may elect to offer bonus entries into the promotion or bonus entry periods at their discretion. Management may elect to offer bonus cash prizes based on a member’s loyalty tier for nominated draw dates at their discretion. These will not be included in the total of all prizes won when determining the Major Draw prize. The total promotional prize pool is $44,490 cash and prizes. |
