1. Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this
promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The company conducting this promotion is Heritage and People’s Choice Limited ABN 11 087 651 125, AFSL
and Australian Credit Licence 244310, trading as Heritage Bank (“Heritage Bank”) 400 Ruthven Street,
Toowoomba, Queensland, 4350, ph 13 14 22.
3. To be eligible, an entrant must:
a) be a resident of Queensland or New South Wales, and aged 18 years or over; and
b) complete the entry form on the Heritage Bank website between 3pm AEST on 19 August 2023 and
11:59pm AEST on 9 September 2023 describing in 25 words or less what they wish to loan the
Heritage Bank Stadium for.
4. Heritage and People’s Choice Limited and GCFC Limited staff members and their immediate families are
ineligible to apply.
5. Maximum of one (1) entry per person.
6. Entries will be assessed by a judging panel between 11-30 September 2023. The judging panel will consist
of judges from Heritage Bank and GCFC Limited.
7. This promotion is a game of skill, and the winning entries will be judged on:
a. Creativity;
b. The appropriateness of the event, taking into account Heritage Bank’s corporate values; and
c. The safety and wellbeing of Heritage Bank Stadium staff and attendees, and the importance of
preserving the Heritage Bank Stadium facilities for other events.
8. Up to three (3) entrants will be chosen to win a prize which consists of a loan of the Heritage Bank Stadium
to conduct an agreed event. Each prize includes:
a. a loan of the Heritage Bank Stadium to the winner at a date and time to be agreed between Heritage
Bank, GCFC Limited and the winner (each event must be held prior to 31 May 2024 or the prize will
be forfeited); and
b. a $5,000 contribution towards the cost of conducting the winning event at Heritage Bank Stadium.
Any costs associated with loaning of the Heritage Bank Stadium above the $5,000 contribution must
be covered by the winner. Where applicable, the winner must use Heritage Bank Stadium’s preferred
suppliers when arranging their event (for example, caterers). If the amount incurred in fulfilling the
winning entry is less than $5,000, the remaining amount will be forfeited and will not be refunded
to the winner. For the avoidance of doubt, the $5,000 contribution will not be paid to the winner,
but will credited towards the cost of the event.
9. Prior to conducting their events, each winner will be required to enter into an agreement with Heritage Bank
and/or the GCFC Limited agreeing to terms and conditions relating to the Loan. This may include (but is not
limited to) restrictions on how the event can be conducted, limitations on the use of the space and liability
in the case of damage to Heritage Bank Stadium facilities. Winners also agree to assist Heritage Bank and
GCFC Limited in obtaining any necessary consents to photograph, film and/or record the event and to use
any such photographs, filming and/or recordings in any media relating to this promotion.
10. Winners agree that they will not commercialise their event in any way, including by selling tickets to their
event or publicly advertising entry to their event.
11. Heritage Bank may identify additional reserve entries and record them in case an original applicant is unable
to meet the requirements of the promotion.
12. The winners will be notified by phone by Monday, 2 October 2023 using the phone number provided on their
application form. The winners will also be notified by email, if an email address has been provided. The
winners will have 7 days to contact Heritage Bank to discuss their successful application.
13. Heritage Bank reserves the right to refuse applications that are wholly or partially incomplete or
indecipherable. Heritage Bank’s decision on this and all other aspects of the promotion is final and no
correspondence will be entered into. All applications become Heritage Bank’s property and entry into the
promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. The prize is non-transferable and not
redeemable for cash.
14. Prizes and participation in the promotion are subject to any conditions imposed by the supplier or organiser
of the prizes, as applicable, including Heritage Bank Stadium conditions of entry.
15. The prize may constitute as assessable income and, as such, entrants should seek independent advice to
determine their taxation obligations.
16. Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, Heritage Bank and GCFC Limited accept no liability for any
event, circumstance, loss or expense arising from the taking or use of a prize by the prize-winner and/or any
other person.
17. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. Heritage Bank reserves the right to, at any
time, withdraw, vary or extend the competition, or otherwise vary or amend these Terms and Conditions
without notice, subject to any applicable laws.
18. Privacy Notice: Heritage Bank will use your personal information to enter you in this promotion. Without this
information, we cannot process your entry. For more information about how we handle your personal
information, how to access or correct your personal information, or making a privacy complaint, please read
our Privacy Policy, available in branch or online at https://www.heritage.com.au/privacy-policy. Entrants
should read Heritage’s Privacy Policy available at heritage.com.au or in branch. Entry is conditional on
providing the requested personal information. By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the retention,
use and disclosure of their personal information Including their name, likeness, image and/or voice by
Heritage in the following ways:
a) for the purposes of and any matter connected to the promotion;
b) for publicity purposes in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration, compensation
or prior notice to the entrant; and
c) to third parties including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers
and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
19. The promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
