Terms and conditions
By entering this promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
Promoter

Promotion
3. The promotion will commence Saturday 15th October 2022, and end 31st December 2023 4pm
Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
4. Promotion is a 1 in 50 chance to win $25,000, therefore there is a maximum of 50 entries permitted
in this promotion. The first 50 successful entries will be accepted.
5. One entry per building contract.
6. There are no entry fees for this promotion.
Prize
7. There is only one (1) prize, to the value of $25,000. Prize money ($25,000) is based on AUD
(Australian Currency Dollar).
Entry
8. Entry is open to Victorian Australian Residents over the age of 18 years except for DBN Homes
Employees and their immediate families, Sub-Contractors or any affiliated company or supplier of
DBN Homes. Immediate families are spouses (current, ex or defacto), children (natural, step or
adoptive), parents and/or grandparents (natural, step or adoptive), sisters and brothers (natural,
step or adoptive), uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, and nieces (natural, step or adoptive).
9. Entry is only valid for new clients. This entry is not valid for existing clients. New client/s are defined
as a client who has not previously entered a Building Contract with DBN Homes prior to 15th
October 2022.
10. Entry is considered Valid only for New Home Construction within the Greenfields Estates as per
DBN Homes Build Regions.
11. Entry into the draw and or prize will be forfeited if the building contract is cancelled, voided,
withdrawn, or not completed in any way.
12. You will be automatically entered into the promotion by DBN Homes.
13. Entry is considered successful once DBN Homes has issued a payment receipt for the Contracted
5% deposit.
14. Notification of entry will be emailed to the person/s who will be named on the building contract.
15. You are only entered into the Promotion if you have received email notification from the Promoter. If
you do not receive email notification of your successful entry into the promotion, you have not been
entered.
16. You can only enter this promotion once
17. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer except as otherwise set out in
these terms and conditions.
Prize Winner

18. Prize will be randomly drawn on 15th January 2024 at 10am.
19. The winner/s will be directly notified via phone and email within 48 hours of the draw. Notification will
also be announced on the DBN Homes Website and Social Media pages.
20. Entrant/s are not required to be present at the drawing of the lottery to be eligible to win a prize
Prize and Draw
21. The prize will be paid to the winner on the 28th day after the draw takes place.
22. The prize will not be paid via Cheque, Cash, or any other method other than Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT).
23. Winner/s will be required to provide their Australian Financial Institution Details for Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT) of prize money no later than 14th day after the winner/s are announced.
24. Prize of $25,000 AUD (Australian Currency Dollar) will be paid in one (1) single payment via
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into the winners nominated Australian Bank Account, in the name/s
of the person/s named on the building contract and is not transferrable to other person/s or other
than the person/s named on the building contract.
25. Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, or used for any other purpose other than those reasons
determined in these terms and conditions.
26. The Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other
decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion, and all decisions, results and
outcomes are non-negotiable.
Unclaimed Prizes
27. If DBN Homes do not receive contact with the winner/s Australian Financial Institution Details by the
21st day after the winner is announced, the first selected winner/s prize will be forfeited, and a new
winner will be randomly drawn. Any winner/s who forfeit their prize/entry will be removed from the
draw and/or re-draw.
28. It is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the promoter of any changes/updates to contact details
change during the promotional period.
29. Any request to update contact information for the promotion should be directed to the promoter.
Personal information
30. Any personal information collected/used for the entry into the promotion will be used for the
purposes of the promotion and may be used for future promotional and/or marketing initiatives.
31. If you refuse to provide any information required for the entry into the promotion, you will not be able
to take part in the promotion and you forfeit your entry into the promotion.
32. Your personal information may be provided to third parties to assist the promoter with the promotion.
This also includes the governing body who regulate the competition.
33. An entrant can request to update the personal information used for the purposes of this promotion

34. By entering this promotion, you consent to the Promoter using your name, representation and in the
event you are the Winner, you also consent to the promoter using photos, videos or any recordings
in any social or website media for an unlimited period without compensation for the purpose of
promoting this Competition (including any outcome).

General Information
36. The promoter takes no liability for any fees or tax liability associated with the prize or accepting the
prize.
37. The promoter takes no liability for damage, loss, or injury because of any entry, acceptance of prize,
the prize itself or any other loss suffered or consequential loss.
38. If there is any event or circumstance beyond the promoter’s control which inhibits the promoter from
complying with the conditions of entry, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure or delays
associated with performing the responsibilities.
39. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the promotion without
notice.
