Celebrate the people, places and things that bring us joy in this uplifting and spirited book. A fun, feel-good picture book for Early Years and Primary School children – it invites us to think about where our Happy Places are, and encourages us to spend more time in them. Incorporating the ‘senses’ with SEL, it offers children a lovely launchpad for discussions with friends/siblings, parents/carers, teachers, Wellness Educators, School Counsellors and Welfare Officers in SSSO roles.

Emma Bowd is an internationally published and award-winning Australian author of books for adults (Bloomsbury, UK) and children. Emma is an experienced presenter, and a passionate literacy advocate with the children’s education charity, Ardoch.

1. Entry is open to all residents of Australia and New Zealand from 1 March 2024 to 31 March 2024. 2. Employees and the immediate families of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible. 3. The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 4. The first correct entries drawn from the competition in April 2024 will win a copy of the book. 5. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. 6. The winners of the prizes will be notified by email in April 2024.
