Calling all Queensland kindy children, parents/guardians of kindy children and educators – imagine the magic as the Wiggles dance their way to YOUR kindy!

Enter the Wiggles kindy visit competition and you'll have the chance to win a visit from the Wiggles (four Wiggles members) to your kindy!

We want you to show us how creative you and your child or children can be by sending us a video, photos or PDFs highlighting:
why electrical safety is important
messages from The Wiggles song ‘Electricity!’
why your child loves kindy
the entrant (the child/parents/guardians/teachers and/or kindergarten class).

You can submit video files, photos or PDFs.

The winning entry will be chosen based on:
creativity
whether it has met the above highlights that are to be included in the entry.

Thirteen runners-up will receive family passes to The Wiggles April concert in Brisbane.

The competition is now open and closes at midnight, 29 March 2024.

Consent forms will need to be provided for each adult and child present in entries. Find the consent forms at www.electricalsafety.qld.gov.au/Wiggles

Entrants will need to confirm that their kindergarten is available for a visit on Wednesday 24 April 2024 prior to entering.

Winners will be announced in April 2024.

Learning outcomes
We want Queensland kindy children to understand the importance of electrical safety to prevent electrical shocks in the home.

We want your children to know:
what electricity is
not to play with damaged electrical toys
never touch powerpoints
never sleep with your electrical device.

Judging
Judges will select the winning entry and runner up entries based on how creative the entry is and how clearly the above messages are highlighted in the entry
