Closes 15 May 2024, 10 am 3RRR Subscriber Film Screening- The Beast Visually audacious director Bertrand Bonello (Saint Laurent, Nocturama) fashions his most accomplished film to date with THE BEAST. In 2044, artificial intelligence controls all facets of a stoic society as humans routinely "erase" their feelings. Hoping to eliminate pain caused by their past-life romances, Gabrielle (Léa Seydoux - Dune: Part Two) relives her love affairs with different incarnations of Louis (George MacKay - 1917). Punctuated by a career-defining, three-role performance from Seydoux, THE BEAST poignantly conveys humanity's struggle against dissociative identity and emotionless existence. THE BEAST in cinemas May 30 Triple R Presents a special subscriber-only screening of The Beast at 6.30 pm on Wednesday May 22 at Cinema Nova *Only subscribers with a paid annual subscription are eligible for giveaways Enter now |
