One of the biggest concert events and albums in music history becomes one of the biggest tributes as we honour Neil Diamond and the memory of our darling Olivia Newton John. Such an event requires two very special performers. Michael Zammit is a craftsman musician who plays Diamond as if he were standing on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles that Hot August Night. He toured the US in the 90’s with Pseudo Echo and remained. He now fronts his own band the Tequila Brothers and has built a huge following. No one performs Olivia’s hits like Jenn Allas. Jenn returns to Australia having wowed audiences in Asia and Germany where she recorded. Michael and Jenn have performed together many times. Who better to bring the magic of Neil Diamond and Olivia Newton John to the stage in this ‘Hottest’ of new productions that features classic hits including from ‘Hot August Night’ – Sweet Caroline, Crunchy Grenola, Cherry Cherry, Cracklin Rosie, I Am I Said and Olivia’s Physical, I Honestly Love You and the hits from Grease, Xanadu and much much more.
