Item 5 Eligible Entrants • Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
• Entrants under 18 years of age must have prior consent of their parent or guardian or
their entry will be invalid.

Item 6 Ineligible Entrants • Directors, management, officers, employees and contractors of the Promoter and
associated agencies, retailers, suppliers and companies, and their immediate families.
• For the purposes of this clause, "immediate families" includes his or her spouse, ex-
spouse, de facto spouse, child, step child, adopted child, parent, step-parent, grandparent,
uncle, aunt, siblings, step-siblings, or first cousin, whether or not they live in the same
household as the director, manager, officer, employee or contractor.
Item 7 How to Enter
• To enter, each Entrant must, during the Competition Period (each an “Entry”):
o Visit the David Jones Website (located at www.davidjones.com/beauty-awards)
and vote on all 12 categories during the competition period (“Entry”).
o Entrants must provide their email address after submitting their vote to go into
the draw to win. This email address will be used to notify the winner.
• Any costs associated with entering this Competition are the responsibility of each Entrant.
Item 8 Limits of Entry • Only one entry is permitted per Entrant.
• Once submitted, no changes to or withdrawal of an Entry will be permitted.
• Any Entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant by a third party, or otherwise by proxy, will
be invalid.

• An Entry must not be late, incomplete or incomprehensible or contain any content that
infringes the rights (including intellectual property rights) of any person or is unlawful,
obscene, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, libellous, pornographic, or otherwise
objectionable or inappropriate, or capable of violating any law or giving rise to any civil
liability.
• The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter and
not the time of transmission by the Entrant.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late transactions due to technical
disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
Item 9 How Winners are
Determined
• This Competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the Winner.
• The Promoter’s decision in relation to any or all aspects of this Competition is at its
complete discretion, final and binding on all persons who enter this Competition, and no
correspondence will be entered into.

Prize Draws • There will be one (1) Prize Draw that will take place at 14:00 pm AEST on Monday, 22 July
2024, at Engage Australia Pty Ltd, 24 Washpool Crescent Woongarrah NSW 2259.
• If the draw is scheduled on a public holiday, the draw will be conducted on the following
business day.

Prize Details • Entrants who receive a Prize (each a “Winner”) will win one of the items below (each a
“Prize”)
• There are 5 prices in total. Each prize is outlined as below:
a. 1 x $1,000 David Jones gift card

d. 1 x $1,000 David Jones gift card
e. 1 x $1,000 David Jones gift card
• The total prize pool is $5,000 AUD.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize if such
component becomes unavailable for any reason.

Notification of
Winners
• The Winner will be notified within seven (7) business days of the draw. The winner will
be notified of their prize in writing via email. The winner may also be contacted via phone
if they have provided a phone number.
• The Winner will also have their details published on the David Jones Rewards website at
www.davidjones.com/terms-and-conditions within seven (7) business days of the draw.
• The Promoter will take no responsibility if a Winner's details are incorrect or incomplete
and the Winner cannot be contacted.

Second Chance Draw /
Unclaimed Prizes
• All Prizes must be claimed by 17:00 pm on Friday, 20 September 2024. If a Winner cannot
redeem the prize by this date, that Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and
the Promoter reserves the right to appoint a new winner by conducting a second chance
draw.
• Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, a second chance draw will
take place at 14:00pm AEST on Monday,23 September 2024 at Engage Australia Pty Ltd,
24 Washpool Crescent Woongarrah NSW 2259.
• The winner will be notified in writing via email within seven (7) business days of the
second chance draw. The winner's details will also be published on the David Jones

business days of the second chance draw.
• In the event that the Winner of a second chance draw cannot be contacted within thirty

of a second chance draw, that Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize.
