We're sending one Chocolate Lover and their plus one to a luxurious escape in the bohemian surf mecca of Byron Bay. Our lucky winner will receive flights for two to Byron Bay and two nights at the beautiful Swell Hotel.

Our second-prize winner will receive a six-month supply of Whittaker's chocolate.

Our 24 runners-up will win a care package of our newest flavours including Mango & Coconut, Hazella, Creamy Caramel and White Chocolate.

The draw is open to Australian residents only. So, make sure you're in to win your little piece of paradise by telling us your favourite Whittaker's flavour.


THE CONTEST POLICY

1. The Win Whittaker’s contest (the Contest) is run by J H Whittaker & Sons Limited (Whittaker’s). Whittaker’s can be contacted in relation to this Contest at our offices at 24 Mohuia Crescent, Elsdon, Porirua, by phone on +64 4 237 5021, or by email at reception@whittakers.co.nz.

2. The Contest will begin on the date that the first entry is submitted and accepted by Whittaker’s and will continue until Whittaker’s, in its sole discretion and without notice, terminates the Contest (the Contest Period).

3. The Contest will consist of a website form submission (each an Entry) during the Contest Period.

4. During the Contest Period Whittaker’s will select a winner or winners (at Whittaker’s discretion) for each Form (a Winner) from Entries received during the period for which Whittaker's makes the website form available.

 

Entry

5. The Contest is open to (both at the time of entry and at the time the Entry they have submitted is judged) residents of Australia, not an employee of Whittaker’s or any of its associated agencies or suppliers and who submits an Entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry (a Contestant, you, your).

6. To enter, a Contestant must:

a. provide his or her full and correct name, email address, and physical address;

b. agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Entry;

c. follow the instructions of the Contest application; and

d. submit an answer to a question (an Entry).

7. A Contestant can only submit a single Entry to any Form.

 

Prizes

8. The grand prize winner will win a two nights’ stay for two people in a Garden View Room at the Swell Hotel, including flights for two to Byron Bay. There is one prize to be won.

The second-prize winner will win a six month’s supply of Whittaker’s chocolate. We define a 6-month supply of Whittaker's chocolate as 24 blocks of chocolate. There is one prize to be won.

The runner up winners will win a Whittaker’s care package. Our care package of our newest flavours includes one block of Mango & Coconut, one block of Hazella, one block of Creamy Caramel and one block of White Chocolate. There are 24 prizes to be won.

9. Each Winner will be drawn by Whittaker’s from those Entries that answer all questions in the Form. No correspondence will be entered into.

10. The Winners may not be notified, but instead any physical prize may just be sent to the physical address they provide when entering the Contest. You consent to your name being used for promotional purposes in relation to the Contest if you are a Winner.

 

Privacy

11. Whittaker’s takes its privacy obligations seriously and we refer you to our privacy policy for this Contest which you can find in the column alongside this policy.

12. In entering this Contest you are providing your personal information to Whittaker’s, and not to Facebook.

 

General

13. By entering the Contest you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Entry.

14. Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

15. The Contest and these Terms and Conditions of Entry will be governed by Australian law.

16. Whittaker’s may vary these Terms and Conditions of Entry and may terminate, suspend, modify or cancel the Contest, the Form, or the prizes at any time without notice.

17. To the extent permitted by law, Whittaker’s will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, however caused, arising out of your participation in the Contest. To the extent that Whittaker’s cannot disclaim its liability you agree that Whittaker’s liability will in any case be limited to the value of the prize awarded to each Winner.

18. To the extent permitted by law, Whittaker’s will not be liable for any damage caused, whether by heat or temperature, to any prize while in transit to any prizewinning Contestant.

19. You acknowledge that the Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook and that Facebook has no liability to you in relation to the Contest. You agree to fully release Facebook from any and all liability in relation to your participation in this Contest.

WHITTAKER’S CONTEST PRIVACY POLICY

1.  J H Whittaker & Sons Limited (Whittaker’s, we, us, our) is committed to protecting your personal information.

2. This Privacy Policy sets out how we handle your personal information that we may collect when you enter our Win Whittaker’s contest (the Contest).

Information we collect and use

3. When you enter the Contest, we will collect your name and your email address details so we know who you are and so we know how to contact you if you are the winner. We may later collect other information from you, for example further contact details, including the address to send any prize to.

14. From time to time we may send you, and you agree to receive, emails and other promotions relating to us, our related companies, or products and emails and other promotions from Kiwis for Kiwi.

16. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.  The current version will apply to your entry to the Contest and our use of your Personal Information.

17. The Contest may contain links to third party websites or applications.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third party websites or applications.

18. Your participation in the Contest is also governed by any applicable Terms and Conditions of Entry.  Please read these carefully, as you agree to them by your entry to the Contest.
