TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The promoter is Entain Group Pty Ltd (ABN 25 151 956 768) of Level 2, East Tower, 25 Montpelier Road, Bowen Hills QLD 4006 (Promoter). The Promoter and its related companies are referred to as the Promoter Group.

a. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and is not administered by Zuffa, LLC or any of its affiliates, parents or subsidiaries. Entrants are providing their information to Ladbrokes.
2. Instructions and information on how to enter the promotion form part of these terms and conditions, and entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and all of the Promoter’s terms and conditions.
3. Entry to the promotion is free and open to Australian residents (excluding South Australia), who are 18 years of age or older, have not been self-excluded from the Promoter’s services, and enter the promotion during the Promotion Period as follows:
a. Entrants will be required to visit the landing page website and register their details.
b. Entrants will be required (at the same landing page) to tell us: “Who is the greatest Aussie or Kiwi UFC fighter of all-time”, in 25 words or less.

4. Entry to the promotion is open from 12.01am on 8 July 2024 until 11.59pm on 22 July 2024.

5. The following people are not eligible to win any prizes resulting from this promotion:
a. directors, managers, agents, employees of the Promoter Group and their
immediate families; and
b. directors, managers, agents, employees of Zuffa, LLC (UFC) and their immediate
families.
6. The rationale submitted per clause 3(b) must be in English text and 25 words or less.
7. All entries to the ‘Ladbrokes UFC305 Competition’ must be original works by the entrant.
8. Entrants can have only one entry in the promotion.
a. each entrant acknowledges and agrees to perpetually assign all intellectual
property rights in their entry, including trademark rights and copyright in the entry, to the Promoter. This is required so that the Promoter may share and display entries into this promotion.
9. The prize for the promotion is:
a. Two (2) P1 tickets to UFC 305, with each ticket including a VIP tour of the UFC Octagon after the event concludes;
b. Two (2) tickets to the UFC 305 weigh in with VIP seating; and
c. A $5,000 Flight Centre Travel Group voucher.
10. The retail value for the prize components detailed at subclauses 9(a)-(c) is approximately up to $10,000 AUD in total.
11. The following conditions apply to the prize:
The prize does not include any insurance;
The items in clause 9 can only be used by people who are 18 years of age or older; The prize component deatailed at clause 9(c) is subject to the Promoter’s travel agent's terms and conditions (and the terms and conditions of the airline, hotel etc that it is expended on);
The prize is limited to the items listed in clause 9, and any additional costs or charges must be paid by the winner, including but not limited to travel between the prize winner’s home and the venue hosting UFC305, additional meals, hotel quarantine costs (if required), ancillary hotel costs such as mini-bar, additional transport etc;
The prize winner must make all arrangements for receiving the right to the prize within two weeks after the Promoter advises them that they have won (this is different requirement to the Conditional Winner process and timeframe in clause 18), including but not limited to, cooperating with the Promoter’s staff and/or travel agent to finalise travel details;
If a prize (or a component of it) is not available for any reason (including due to COVID-19 restrictions or other impacts), the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of similar value, or at its discretion, with a cash sum equivalent to the retail value of that component of the prize, subject to state lottery laws;
The right to any prize is not transferable or assignable to another person, and the prize is not redeemable for cash (other than in accordance with clause 11(f);
The winner must (and must ensure that the guests they invite) pass background checks or any medical tests or other requirements at any time required or recommended by any government agency, airline, or UFC, including without limitation, passing one or more COVID-19 antigen and screen tests and testing negative for COVID-19;
The winner must (and must ensure that the guests they invite) execute any assumption of risk or other documents relating to COVID-19 or the winner’s presence at the applicable event (including, but not limited to, a UFC waiver);
The travel voucher provided as part of the prize is intended to be used by the prize winner toward their travel expenses to Perth, Western Australia. The Promoter will not provide the prize winner with any further benefits or funding to enable their travel to or from Perth, Western Australia. 12. A panel entries submitted during the Promotional Period.
of judges employed by the Promoter will be appointed who will review all of the entries.
13. Entries will be judged on three main criteria: creativity, passion and uniqueness. The entry that most effectively meet these criteria, as chosen by the panel of judges in its sole discretion, will be determined the winner. The Promoter’s decision as to the result of the prize is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. You must not submit an entry which is or may be considered to be defamatory, abusive, obscene, unlawful, racist, sexist, discriminatory or otherwise offensive.
15. One (1) winning entry will be selected by the Promoter at 12:00pm (AEST) on Wednesday 24 July 2024 at 25 Montpelier Road, Bowen Hills, Queensland 4006. The selected entry being awarded the prize and becoming the prize winner is conditional upon clauses 16 and 17 being satisfied (Conditional Winner).
a. If an entrant self-excludes from the services of the Promoter, their entry will become void and they will not be capable of being the prize winner.
16. The Promoter will attempt to notify the Conditional Winner by either email or phone immediately after the draw.
17. The Conditional Winner must reply email or phone call outlined in clause 16 and confirm that they accept the prize being offered to them, all conditions outlined in clause 11, and must also confirm their eligibility to travel to Perth, Western Australia. The Promoter will then check whether clause 15(a) applies. If clause 15(a) does not apply, the Conditional Winner will be declared the prize winner, and they will be awarded the prize. The Promoter may announce or publish the first initial and surname of the prize winner in any media, including social media. The Promoter is entitled to tag the social media account(s) of the prize winner.
18. If a Conditional Winner is unable to be contacted or does not claim their prize by 9:00am (AEST) Wednesday 31 July 2024 such as that they have not replied to the email or phone call as outlined in clauses 16 and 17, then that person’s status as a Conditional Winner is forfeited and the Promoter may require the panel of judges to select a runner-up.
a. The runner-up will be required to respond to contact and claim the prize in the same manner as clauses 16 and 17. If the runner-up does not respond to the Promoter and claim the prize within 48 hours of being contacted, they will forfeit their status as runner-up, and the same process in clause 18 will repeat. This may occur as many times as necessary until a prize winner is determined.
19. The Promoter will publish the first initial and surname (and is entitled to tag the social media account(s)) of the prize winner who has validly won and claimed their prize as an addendum to these terms and conditions on ladbrokes.com.au for no less than 28 days.
20. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry or disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The decision to verify, validate or disqualify an entry is in the Promoter’s absolute discretion.
21. Subject to state lottery laws, if the Promoter reasonably considers that a change to these terms and conditions is likely to benefit entrants or be of immaterial detriment to entrants, then the Promoter can make the change immediately and does not need to notify entrants. Alternatively, subject to state lottery laws, the Promoter may vary these terms and conditions by placing a notification at all places where these terms and conditions are made available to entrants.
22. The Promoter and Zuffa, LLC (UFC) accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer system, software or internet difficulties, including any damage to an entrant’s device, resulting from participating in the promotion. Any cost associated with participating in the promotion are the entrant’s responsibility.
23. The Promoter and Zuffa, LLC (UFC) will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in relation to the promotion or a prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
24. If the Promoter is prevented from or delayed in performing an obligation by Force Majeure then the obligation is suspended during, but for no longer than, the period the Force Majeure continues and any further period that is reasonable in the circumstances. ‘Force Majeure’ means any event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, which occurs without the fault or negligence of the Promoter.
25. Subject to obtaining the approval from the regulator (if applicable), the Promoter reserves the right to delay or modify any aspect of this promotion if for any reason it is not capable or running as planned (including without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, fraud, technical failures, power failures or due to any other causes unforeseen or beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion) but only to the extent necessary to overcome the issue that is affecting the running of the promotion as planned.
26. By participating in the promotion, an entrant authorises the Promoter Group, and contractors and agents of the Promoter Group, to access, collect and use personal information about the entrant, and disclose personal information about the entrant, to Zuffa, LLC (UFC), the Promoter Group and its contractors and agents, for the purposes of (i) conducting the promotion; (ii) providing the entrant with information and marketing material about products and services of the Promoter Group and Zuffa, LLC (UFC); and (iii) making arrangements for a prize winner to be notified and receive their prize. Such information may be provided electronically, or by contacting the entrant by telephone or other means, until such time as the entrant asks the Promoter not to provide further information. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.ladbrokes.com.au/rules-terms-and-conditions) contains information about how to access, correct or make a complaint about the Promoter’s handling of personal information. A prize winner may be asked by the Promoter to participate in publicity associated with the promotion. The prize winner will have the right to elect whether or not to participate in that publicity.
27. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Ladbrokes and Zuffa, LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries, parents, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, and each of the foregoing’s employees, officers, and directors from any liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense whatsoever.
28. If an entrant does not provide the personal information requested, the entrant cannot participate in the promotion and will not receive information about products and services of the Promoter Group. An entrant can request access to information held about them by contacting the Promoter at privacy@entaingroup.com.au.
29. All references to time in these terms and conditions are a reference to local Queensland time unless stated otherwise.
30. All references to currency (including ‘$') refer to AUD unless stated otherwise.
31. Ladbrokes is solely responsible for the administration of this competition.
