Title: Win a family pass to see Snow White at Riverside Theatre, Parramatta on Sept 7 Post by: culturebird on Wednesday 24 July 2024, 07:23:00 pm Grandparents and grandchildren can boo, hiss and cheer at the stage in a pantomime of Snow White.
You can win a family pass valued at $360 to see it at Riverside Theatres in Parramatta on Saturday, September 7 at 7.30pm. A pantomime allows the audience to become part of the show by adding running commentary plus helping the characters on stage. With some direction from the stage, the audience can also be more liberal with their approval or disapproval as the scenes unfold. Featuring song, dance, and modern twists, this show is both hilarious and heartfelt, plus has spectacular sets and costumes. Running as part of a limited season, producer Bonnie Lythgoe said the show is "for adults as much as it is for the kids, known for its interactive style and humour". Playing Snow White is Eliza Sunderland, while Tim Maddren plays Prince Sebastian. Australian musical theatre darling Debora Krizak is the Wicked Queen, while Barry Pearl joins the cast as Chambers, the Queen's confidant and servant. Barry is well known to lovers of the original Grease movie as he played the role of Doody. Sir Cliff Richard and Kyle Sandilands have recorded unique scenes for this production as projected images on stage portraying Mirror Enchanted and Mirror Disgruntled.
