Following a sell-out event in 2023, Pacific Airshow Gold Coast is back for round two in spectacular Surfers Paradise from 16 – 18 August, 2024.
In 2024 we’re not just bringing it back….we are rollin’ in to town with some of the most bad-ass performers you can find!

Competition commences Monday 5 August 2024 at 5.00AM AEST.
The Promoter reserves the right to tease the promotion prior to the
competition start date.
7. Competition Period Close Date &
Time
Competition concludes Friday 16 August 2024 at 7.00PM AEST or
whenever the major prize has been awarded.
The Promoter reserves the right to:
a) amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion including
to close the competition within the Competition Period;
b) terminate the competition subject to any direction from a
regulatory authority.
8. Entry Restrictions and Eligibility
Criteria
a) Entrants must be 18 years of age of over at the time of entry
b) Entrants acknowledge that they must be contactable by the
Promoter in order to be successful. Entrants unable to be
contacted in accordance with these terms for any reason will
forfeit their prize / opportunity.
c) Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent
information are ineligible in the promotion and all entries of
an entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided
incorrect or misleading information may, at the discretion of
the Promoter be deemed invalid.
d) Entrants may be required to sign a legal indemnity form prior
to participating in the activity.
e) Entrants must be willing for their photos, videos or other
material submitted as part of their entry to be published,
including later publication by the Promoter for the purposes
of the Promotion.
f) Entrants may only enter on their own behalf.
g) Entrants may enter more than once, however only one prize
can be won per person per competition.

h) Promotions are not open to any person, including Australian
residents, entering the competition from outside of Australia.
i) Entrants must be able to travel to the prize destination and
attend The Pacific Airshow. Entrants unavailable to travel and
attend will forfeit their entry.
j) Entrants must be able to collect the prize from the Station or
as specified by the Promoter.
k) A person that is put to air, or determined as an on air prize
winner cannot pass the telephone call on to anyone else, and
should this occur, any person that is on air or has been
passed the phone in this capacity will not be eligible for a
prize, at the discretion of the Promoter.
l) If for any technical reason, the phone line drops out, or they
are inaudible or they are or they are unreachable for any
reason (including without limitation any technical or operator
error), the entrant will not be awarded with a prize.
9. How to enter
Phone entry:
At various times during the Competition Period:
(a) Listeners will be invited to watch 7 NEWS on Channel Seven for
the nightly code word.
(b) Listeners will then be invited to listen to 1029 Hot Tomato the
following day and call 07 5571 1029 during a specified time
period;
(c) Entrants who successfully call 07 5571 1029 and are selected by
the Promoter (in its absolute discretion) and are put to air will be
asked to state the code word delivered the night prior; and
(d) If the selected entrant gives the correct code word, they will
receive a minor prize and entry into the major prize draw.
(e) Should the selected entrant give an incorrect code word or no
code word at all they will receive a minor prize and no entry to
the Major Prize draw.
(f) Entrants may be required to go through an eligibility checklist off
air (at the absolute discretion of the Promoter) as noted in the
entry restrictions. If the entrant who successfully calls does not
meet the eligibility requirements, they will be not entered into
the major prize draw.
(g) Entrants in the major prize draw must be able to attend The
Pacific Airshow 2024 on Saturday 17 August and be willing and
able to take part in Aerobatic Flight (the prize experience).
(h) If the Entrant is unable or unwilling to participate in the Major
prize experience they will forfeit their place in the Major prize
draw and will receive a minor prize only.
The promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refrain
from broadcasting any call.
10. Limitation on entries Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish,
however Entrants may only be determined as a finalist once (1) .

One (1) draw will be conducted, as follows:

Major Prize Draw
- Between 2:00PM – 3:00PM on Friday 16 August 2024 at The
Hot Tomato Broadcasting Company Pty Ltd, 60 High Street
Southport QLD, 4215
- The Promoter may contact entrants prior to the Draw to
verify eligibility requirements.
- If the Major prize winner is unable or unwilling to participate
in the Major Prize experience the Promoter reserves the right
to conduct a re-draw at their absolute discretion.
14: Prize Details
There are seventy (70) Minor prizes available for Seventy (70)
potential Minor prize winners, the Minor prize includes:
• 1 x 3-day family pass to The Pacific Airshow, Surfers Paradise,
QLD. August 16 – 18, 2024
There is one (1) Major Prize available for one (1) potential Major Prize
winner, the Major Prize includes:
• An Aerobatic flight over the Pacific Airshow Show Centre for
one person at a time as stipulated by the promoter on
Saturday 17 August 2024
• 1 x night accommodation in an Ocean View Twin room
including breakfast (2 adults & 2 children) at the Mantra on
View Surfers Paradise, for Saturday 17th August, 2024

16. Prize Provider(s) Pacific Airshow Australia
17: Winner Notification Winners will be notified: on air at the time of winning.
The prize winner will be notified on-air if they have been successful in
winning a prize. The prize winner will then be kept on the telephone
or contacted after winning via phone or email to organise the prize.
18. Publication Details Winners of prizes valued at over $500 (inc GST) will be published on
the Station Website ‘WIN’ Page.
19: Prize Claim and Delivery
Winners may be required to prove their identity and show evidence as
documented on their birth certificate, driver’s licence or passport
before any prize is awarded.
The Major Prize-winner taking part in the Aerobatic Flight will need to
acknowledge this is a high-risk activity, and acknowledge and agree to
the airline’s terms and conditions.

The Major prize-winner will be required to sign a waiver provided by
the prize provider.
Winners may also be required to provide any documentation which
the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s insurer reasonably requests for
the purposes of prize redemption.
If the prize has been arranged for a certain time/date then the winner
must be available to take this as specified by the Promoter. If the
winner is unable to facilitate this, then they may be required to forfeit
the prize.
Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
Where the prize is travel
Verification requirement – The prize must be claimed by winners
providing the Promoter or Promoter’s nominated travel agent, the full
names of the travellers as per their passports, their dates of birth,
passport numbers and scanned copy of passports.
Collection of prize – The winner will be advised by the Promoter
whether they are required to come into the Station or go directly to
the Promoter’s nominated travel agent to collect their prize.
Unclaimed prize draw
There will be no unclaimed prize draw.
20. Privacy Consent
By entering this Competition all Entrants accept the Promoters’
Privacy Policy as amended from time to time and available on
https://www.hottomato.com.au/privacy-policy/ and that of the Prize
provider(s).
All Entrants’ details are automatically entered on the Promoter’s
promotions database. The Promoter also maintains a record of the
winner’s details.
By entering into this Competition, each Entrant consents to his or her
personal information (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988
(Cth)) being used for:
1. the purpose of distribution of the Prize by the Promoter, the Prize
provider(s) and third parties;
2. publicity purposes by the Promoter as set out in clause 8 of the
Promoter’s General Terms, and as reasonably requested by the
Prize Provider(s) for the purpose of the Competition, including
broadcast on radio and publication online and on social media of
the Entrant’s first and last name, the Entrant’s suburb and state of
residence, and the Entrant’s picture and/or likeness, voice and
character if that Entrant is the winner;
3. direct marketing by the Prize provider(s) for goods and services
(Entrants can elect to opt out at any time by selecting
‘unsubscribe’ when they receive direct marketing material); and
4. direct marketing by the Promoter for future competitions and
other goods and services (Entrants can elect to opt out at any
