Terms & Conditions
1. Terms and Conditions: Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these
Terms & Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms & Conditions is
invalid. Entry into the Promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these Terms &
Conditions. Information and material used to market the Promotion or to explain
how to enter the Promotion forms part of these Terms (except that, if there is an
inconsistency between that information and material and these Terms, these Terms
prevail).
2. Promotion: During the Promotion Period, Eligible Participant must purchase $50 or
more on home furnishing products to be entered into the applicable draw to win
the value of the Eligible Receipt (up to $1,000) in the form of an IKEA Reward card.
3. The Promoter is IKEA Pty Limited (ABN 84 006 270 757) of 630 Princes Highway,
Tempe NSW 2044.
4. Eligible Participant: To be an Eligible Participant, you must identify your IKEA
Family membership by:
(a) scanning your IKEA Family membership in-store;
(b) logging in your IKEA Family account before checking out online or via the IKEA
app; or
(c) providing your IKEA Family membership details to our specialists assisting your
remote shopping.
The Eligible Participant must:
(a) be an Australian resident 18 years of age or over;
(b) be a member of the IKEA Family Australian loyalty program with an active IKEA
Family profile; and
(c) have an up to date/valid email address on their IKEA Family account; and
(d) opt into email communication;
(e) not be directors, management, contractors and employees of the Promoter and
its related companies and other agencies, firms or companies associated with
the Promotion (including suppliers of goods or services related to any part of
the Prize);
(f) not be persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in
order to qualify to win a promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except
in the case of a legal change of name); and
(g) not be persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion
run by or on behalf of the Promoter.
Whilst directors, management and employees of the Promoter are not eligible, their
immediate family may be eligible to enter.

5. Promotion Period: The Promotion commences at 12.00am (Sydney Time) on
Wednesday, 24 July 2024 and closes at 11.59 pm (Sydney Time) on Tuesday, 20
August 2024.
6. Entry: Each entry is conditional on the Eligible Participant providing true and correct
personal information to the Promoter. Each Eligible Participant successfully enter
into the draw is an Entrant of the draw. A maximum of one entry per day.
7. Eligible Receipt: The receipt of the first eligible transaction by the Entrant on the
day of entry.
8. Value of home furnishing products only: Purchases only containing food or food
items are not eligible entries. If food or food items are on an Eligible Receipt, the
value of the food or food item will not contribute to the value of the Prize.
9. Verification and disqualification: The Promoter reserve the right, in its sole
discretion to:
(a) verify the validity of Entries; and
(b) disqualify any Entrant for tampering with the entry process or submitting an
Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
10. Prize: Each winner will receive an IKEA Reward card valued to the Eligible Receipt
(up to a maximum of $1,000). The Prizes available to be won in the Promotion are
four (4) IKEA Reward cards and the total maximum value of all Prizes is up $4,000
which is correct at the time of publication. The Promoter takes no responsibility for
any variation in any element of the Prize. Additional Terms & Conditions of IKEA
Reward card apply to each prize element.
11. Prize substitution: If any portion of the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason,
the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize, or any element of the Prize,
for an element of similar theme and of equal value, subject to any legal
requirements and subsequent approval. Any costs incurred will be the sole
responsibility of the Prize winner.
12. Draw: There will be a total of four (4) draws and four (4) prize winners. The first
eligible entry drawn in each draw will win the prize. The draws will take place at the
offices of MDSA, Level 16, 1 Denison Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2060 at the following
dates:

13. Notification: The prize winners will be notified by email, within two (2) business
days of the draw, using the winner’s details included on their IKEA Family
membership. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any incorrect details included
in an Entrant’s account.
14. Publication: The winner’s details (first initial, surname, postcode) will be published
on the IKEA webpage http://www.IKEA.com.au/family 3 business days after the Draw
date, with the final announcement being published on 24 August 2024, for a
minimum of 28
15. days.
16. Redraw: The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of the Entrant
being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeiting. If the Prize
remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will
conduct a further draw, at the same time and place as the original draw, on 23
September 2024. The winner will be notified by email within 3 business days of the
draw and their details (first initial, surname, postcode) will be published on
http://www.IKEA.com.au/family from 26 September 2024 for a period of 28 days.
17. Not transferrable or convertible to cash: The Prize is not transferable and cannot
be taken, refunded, exchanged or transferred as cash.
18. No compensation: The Prize must be taken as described and no compensation will
be payable if the winner is unable to use the Prize.
19. Limitation of Liability: Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the
Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity or profit); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in
any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the
following:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected
(whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond
the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
(e) any tax liability incurred by the winner or Entrant; or

(f) use of the prize.
20. Tax: Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the Prize is the responsibility of
the winner.
21. Final decision: Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
22. Licence to publication and marketing: The winner agrees that the Promoter may
use their personal information and their user-generated content for the Promotion
(including words, images, illustrations, photographs, data, information) (if
applicable) for publicity, promotional, marketing, communication, research,
profiling or commercial purposes, without compensation. The Promoter may
redesign, archive, reproduce, disseminate, display, publicly perform and/or replay
and make publicly accessible, as well as to cut and edit, adapt and modify the
content or any part of it in all formats on all Promoter or its related entities mobile
applications, websites, social media or other marketing channels.
23. Force majeure: If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as
planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs,
tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause
beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration,
security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in
its sole discretion and subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory
Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
24. Personal Information and Privacy: The Promoter collects personal information
(including each Entrant’s name and suburb) in order to conduct the Promotion and
may for this purpose:
(a) sending electronic messages or telephoning the Entrant;
(b) disclosing such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents,
contractors, service providers, prize suppliers;
(c) disclosing to Australian regulatory authorities as required;
(d) disclosing such information to State and Territory lottery departments; and/or
(e) publishing such information under the relevant lottery legislation on any media.
