Our relationship with our clothes is not good. And it’s getting worse.
This problem has a lot to do with the fashion industry, but just as much to do with ours - the 'taking care of your clothes' industry.

You see, when you look hard enough at the clothing industry as a whole; you’ll find that the greatest environmental impact of a garment over its entire life is not caused in the production, transportation or disposal phases - but in the laundry through washing, drying and ironing. It is estimated that up to 80% of a garment's impact happens via the hard and soft waste generated in keeping it clean.

It is our opinion that there are very few brands involved in the customer side of laundry that really truly care. Until earlier this year, we had never really seen a laundry company stand up and say: ‘Hey guys, you know what you should do? Wash a bit less”.
We are proud to be the first.

We have been exposed to such an onslaught of advertising designed to sell more products that has made us believe the dead opposite. Shirt not white enough? Hit it with a brightener. Can’t smell the imaginary butterflies on your shoulder? Get some smell beads. Feeling the fabric on your skin? Get a softener.

Every year we’re setting a new standard for cleanliness that has absolutely nothing to do with being clean. And it is so damaging to our clothes. They no longer have the longevity they used to, simply because they are being over-washed, overheated and over-chemical-ed. So, we don’t buy clothes that we expect to last - we buy them for the upcoming weekend.

Egg or chicken? At this stage, we don’t really care - we just want it to stop.
Our mission has always been to create the best laundry products possible, while causing the least amount of harm.

We execute this mission using a very simple design philosophy; less, but better quality. This allows us to lower the impact and reduce the waste from the products you need to keep wonderfully-clean-but-not-ridiculously-so.

Earlier this year, we launched a product that allows you to wash less: our Fabric Spray. We’ve been blown away by the demand for this product and the very real desire people have to learn how to take better care of fewer things.

So now, we’re taking this a step further.
We’re helping you build a wardrobe that is worth holding onto forever - so you can prove just what is possible when you care for your clothes.

A Vintage Designer Wardrobe from Vestiaire Collective valued at $5000. What’s even better - we’ve enlisted the help of renowned Melbourne stylists 'The Wardrobe Edit' to help you pick a couple of classic capsule pieces that you can keep forever. We’ll also be throwing in some of our favourite products to make sure you’re able to care for it in such a way that it will go the distance.

We know that setting yourself up for living a sustainable lifestyle has some hard up-front costs. But we also know that once you’ve found your groove - it is inexpensive and deeply satisfying.

So to the future owner of the most enviable wardrobe in Australia - we’re looking forward to you showing us what is possible <3.
